My guess would be pot. meter for idling which is connected to the f.b.w. change TB incl electronics and se what happens. maybe someone with a Mk2 Rs can help. This is what you can try....

1. I will be either coating or heat wrapping the manifold before fitting, obviously this will lower the engine temp. slightly. Im woundering if this will have any effect on the engine as are they programmed to work best at a required temp. or is it ok dropping the temp with heatwrapping...
my whistle starts at 6000 rpm and can be produced in all gears when I rev over 6000 rpm. No clue what it is, engine runns like hell so it don't bother me.

Well trust me keep your money for the back strut brace in your pocket. the car is to stiff that the backside always want to go places you don't wanna go. So front strut only is the best !

if you would do a RR with Henk software you will loose one of the peakdowns in the graph (manifold) now get rid of the second by adjusting the TB. Put in a K&N (Green or ITG) panelfilter and put a coldair hose....For the record Power must be around 190 Bhp and doing 215 Nm if you did it correctly

around 6 ltr of coolant(use right one!) use Elf excellium 5W50 every 10.000 km summer and winter.

great work done !! it will help smoothen up the RS but will not bring loads and still all bits will help.....I did the same thing and even put a special coating in the inside (Surlon) did a RR....curvature was better in midrange area. Topend all the same.....cheers all....Even better and more...

thanx greeny happy birthday already ! You do not need to fill in the weight of the car...just make a log under save log. Just drive till it is hot and then close the log after you stop the car. Scroll back and you´ll have the figures.
