I have just received my Lowering springs today and in the box was a note saying "Please Read - Please cut bumpstops by at least 20mm" Will i need to do this?.. The springs are made by G-Max and apparently lower the car by 30mm

did mine uotp the max in the game when i had it, It wasnt much faster than standard specs in real life lol

Well i am going to get some lowering springs for the 172, 25mm ones. Got a Couple of question. Are they straight forward to change? Do i need anything else before i start taking the suspension apart? Do the back ones just pull out like the C2's when jacked right up? I have all the tools...

I think the Vee has alot more presence on the road compared to the FRS.. it just looks much better! the FRS is more common than the Vee.. So yer id say Vee!! :D

im not being biased here cause i own one but i prefer Flame Red.. when i 1st bought the 172 it was a toss up between the Monaco and the Flamer.. i think the flamer looks soo much nicer when its shining!

Wouldnt be much in it in a straight line with the 197.. 1.6T 16V VXR 3d 0-60mph 6.8 140 mph 192 bhp i always thought the VXR was faster than this.. I Would never buy one though.. i have a thing against corsa's.. :rasp:

would it be ok to cut the wires for now and tape them up so i can use the car? I aint going out in it in this weather with no heeater!!! lol

Found the problem with the issues ive been having.. any solutions? plastic has melted fell onto the wires and now they are bare! .. i was gonna cut the wire and tape them up for now so i can use the heater/radio and interior light again but where can i get a new wire, block and mirror switch...

nope wasnt gonna put any fuse in yet until i can find problem, Havent checked the fan, but will be doing all this in the morning. Didnt notice any water stains, is this a common problem with the clio then?

Got in my car tonight to find the a burning smell, heater not working, mirrors, interior light, radio and clock display... all not working. Changed mirror fuse as that was blow interior light flicked on then fuse blew out again,so tried another, exactly the same! Any Ideas? Thanks!

nice, Ive got a 172 in flame red... looks exactly like mine! :D got mine off ebay.

I used to miss my C2 GT 1.6 16v.. Until i got the 172 it was soo much fun to drive great handling and pretty nippy for a 1.6:race: Not as fun as the Clio though ;)

My rear washer has stopped working on my 172 Pump is still working as i can hear it, the rear wiper still works, Front Washers still work. I was thinking a loose pipe or blockage maybe?.. cant seem to trace any pipes though as everything is covered up. any ideas? Thanks, Mark

you shifted at 80, my 172 will do over 90 mph then the shift light comes on..
