I want to put my induction kit in my car, but the car is due to go in to renault within the next 3 weeks for a replacement brake pedal switch and they are going to fix the bluddy sunroof rattle.
If i were to put the induction kit on, would they say "WARRANTY no longer an option!" or would they...
Not sure what either of these are supposed to achieve, but what one is best for overall imrpovement of performance?
A "Ramcharger" induction kit
or
a standard "K&N induction kit"
It is for a 1.4 2004 clio. (16v)

i haev this problem with my 1.4 clio, sometimes the abs light comes on with the traction control and serv light, but not all the time.
It only happens every now and again tho. I hope the fault has been logged in the newer clios systems.
i like the idea of the GPS, but too not keen on the idea of hte cutting a few squares up front. I will have a look later when i move tehe gps to the engine bat, as i currently have it on the ledge under the windscreen.
i was worried that putting the radar/laser detector in the grill, it would be too close to the radiator. Any thoughts on this?
SO i better move it away from my interior mirror then and move it to the engine or the square.
i even went passed 2 truvelos and the snooper didnt even know they were there! the snooper has been updated, i guess no one on the isle of wight has a snooper to get tehm registered on the database!
mine has been very quite. i used to have a cheap £50 radar/laser detector and that detected loads of stuff, like super market doors, but the snooper hasnt detected a thing! Only had it installed a day, but done 25 miles in it so far.
I have bought a S6 Neo, which is GPS and i also have the laser/radar detector too.
I also have a Renault Clio, 2004 which happens to have reflective windows.
The GPS didnt work well in the square where it is supposed to work, so the GPS aerial is against the sunroof, but i was wondering, i...
My car is 4 months old (well i got it from the dealer 4 months ago) and i am finding that even the slightest scrap on the cars body work, takes the blue metallic paint off and its straight down to the primer!
Is this normal?
My car has many white lines on it now, it thought it was just me...
i moved my nail across it earlier, and i cant even feel a bump on most of the scratches, one just catches my nail, but only just if i move slow enough!
I will give it a go over the weekend.
Cheers guys
and when you say mechanical polisher.. are they ok to use?
I heard from somewhere they arent all that as they scratch your car, i already have enough of those in it!
This is what i am thinking of...
I cant believe it, had the car 3/4 months, and already i am scratching it. It aint just me tho, a cat loves the clio too!
They are fine scratches on various parts of the bodywork, mainly roof.
I noticed them the other day when polishing the car (thats whats brought on the bad weather...
I have copied everything down off the sticker thing on the inside drivers door, and i ready to put it into dialogys.
But, what is what?
It asks for engine type, model, etc... and i cant tell which is which on this damn renault sticker.
I have a Clio, 2004 Dynamque, 3 door 1.4, climate...
yeah i noticed that the bonnet release was mentioned in the FAQs as well, so guess its been done a fair few times. I will look that over in a minute.
I will have a look at the amp, but it just confuses me when i look at it.
There are so many "input" terminals on it just for sound!
I will...
Absoluty new to this.
I have a Kenwood 9527 headunit and just a simple sub and amp package.
Few questions.
On my headunit, there is a plug with one connector (RCA i think they are called) for the sub but on the wiring kit (and on the amp) there are 2 rca connectors.
Also, where did you...
i used some auto glym super resin polish on it, and some turtle wax:safe cut scratch remover.
got a lot of the scratches out, just the deepest of the lot left now, how should i go about that, anyone got any better products i should try?
