Been said but does look nice for an MTV, maybe get them MTV stickers off and a few other subtle things and will be well nice. BUT it doesnt look like a 172. Probably a good thing really cus personally id prefer summat slow that looks tidy to summat slow that looks chavved up/looks like summat it...
personally id say its got to be worth 2-3k. Standard RTs seem to fetch about 1k so considering yours looked tidy and the cost of GTT lump and fitting etc got to be in that region
I ran a duck over on the way to pod yesterday. My bumper survived but cracked the undertray.
Really thought it would fly out the way but it just sat there lol
was absoloutley heaving, nether known it so busy.
Also found there was little traction up the strip too.
Personally im waiting till later in the year to go again
ST150 sounds disapointing to be honest, do have a soft spot for rs fords but for a 2.0 16v the power and 0-60 etc well...only sounds a little warm rather than hot hatch.
To be honest think the fiesta is probably more comparable to the 1.6 16v than the 182 or anything. Trying to look as...
not shy at all of the 7.2k limit, when the engines warm and its safe ill gladly take it to the limit in each gear all the time.
My works only 5-10 mins away though so normal day to day driving dont really get to see over 5k unless im going somewhere different and then ill drive it like its...
Hmm to be honest I wouldnt say being a mechanic at Renault would give you information in advance of anyone else.
When I worked for Renault the public always new everything about new cars before us, we were always the last to know!
If I remember right the very first 172s had steel bonetts then they had the alloy ones and then the very last of the mk1s went back to steel again (mine being a steel one)
Personally id go for the mk1 if I had to again but you wouldnt make a bad decission which ever you went for
Its the inertia switch, basically its qa ball bearing in ther, when you have an impact sufficient enough to move the ballbearing it stops the fuel pump relay. by pressing it down your pushing the ball bearing back down so the electrical circuit for the fuel pump is made again.
Good trick is to...
wtf, driving with the air filter off isnt going to contaminate the oil!
At worst some debry will have got chucked up, swallowed by the engine and bent a valve. As your engines running ok then I doubt very much that thats the case.
Just bung it back on and make sure its not going to come off...
Cant believe Ive wasted however long of my life readign this. Personally id go for the v6 as id love one but......
if the prices were the other way round, ie 225 for 27k and the 225 for 17k then obvious choice would be have the megane, sell it, buy the clio and keep the change.
Think...
err last time i looked no one in the aftermarket (walker, timax or bosal) made exhausts for the 172 so if you wanted a replacement would have to be either a genuine renault one or a performance one.
If youve still got the renault middle section on then yes you should be able to get a renault...
Yeah they are all different. However find some dodgy 9 year old kid and hell have them all off in seconds!!!!
Can buy locking wheel nut removal tools depending on the kind of locking wheel nut youve got
1) Solder pre tensioner wires to turn air bag light off
2) Wheels Refurbed and powder coated,
3) Small dent on bonett sorting
4) Few marks on front bumper sorted
1 will get sorted when I can be arsed, 2 will be done round march time I think and 3 and 4 will probably never get round...
rear washer isnt tested
Stone chip depends on where it is on the screen. If its not directly infront of the driver then 1 cm should pass. If its not in the area of the screen thats swept by the wipers then anything goes pretty much
