I used to have a VTR and they are brilliant fun. For the money they cannot be beat. I would definately recommend it for your circumstances. You wont be disappointed.
Ok, i had a look and one strand on the cable has frayed (the engine side of the cable). So I have removed this strand and now the thing revs sweet. There must have been friction on the cable since i have had the car as the pedal was always a bit stiff, i thought it was just supposed to be like...
What does it mean when you revs keep sticking? Mine are stuck at about 2k and when I press the clutch to stop at the lights they increase to around 4K and stick there. I then have to pull the accelerator pedal up with my foot and they then go back to normal. Its pretty cool for gear changes, but...

my dad has a 200sx and the turbo kick on it is brilliant. only had a little go in it but very impressive, sounds great too, but i was wondering if the brakes had failed first time i had to use them (those 172 brakes must be good or something)
the 172 and the 200sx are too different to compare...

Rattley passenger seat, exhaust buzzing (centre box replaced), my alternator belt came a bit loose, and i suppose the there are a few chips in the paint at the front, but nothing too noticeable. Touch wood its been good for a while now and im really starting to trust it (famous last words?)

I had the centre exhaust box replaced, cost on the invoice was 275 pounds, but they gave me 80% off because the car had only done 15,000 miles at the time. Its now done 17,700 miles and there is no sign of the rattle yet.

Ok, there is this steep hill on the way back from work with some traffic lights on it. Over the last couple of days, especially in the wet, my stop light has come on whilst i have been waiting by the lights with my handbrake on. When i then go to drive off i spin the wheels a little because i...
