Is Aux in used by the 6CD changer? Or is that a separate input

Most AUX in is two phone leads I believe, similar to pre-outs for amps etc. Normally red&white connectors I think!

Is this the same head unit as a late 172 model? AUX in would be handy

Just bought an 04 172, had a quick shufty in the bonnet to get used to where everything is but couldnt see the brake fluid. According to the manual its between PAS fluid, and Coolant. Theres nothing there! Im guessing its put somewhere else in the Sport

Get a late 172. Have just bought a Jan 04 (53 plate) 172, it has all the gadgets a 182 has. Saves a bit

So can get away with using Renault key (disarms standard immob upon ignition) and new Fob which will disarm alarm and immob in one? Is that right?

What about the remote central locking etc? Does that just work off the Clio fob, with the alarm also setting itself. Or would you then need two fobs. Im referring to fitting an aftermarket one - eg Toad

Would a fitted aftermarket one integrate/operate with standard immobiliser with no problems?

Getting an import 172, whcih doesnt have an alarm fitted, just immobiliser I believe. Is it worth me getting the standard UK spec alarm fitted? If so, would I have to get Renault to do that? Or, if im getting an alarm fitted, would I be better off getting an aftermarket one which is probably...

Seen a black 182 for sale, with those ghastly silver stripes. Sorry, the name escapes me. Are they easily removed? Or they gonna leave marks all over it

Are there any other clio sites like this one? Reckon this is the biggest but am looking for a 172 for sale, and not having much luck. Tried here and autotrader but theres not alot in my area for the right price.

Guy, £1050 for me on 172. 0 yrs NCB, 22 yrs old. Same area! Thats with Tesco, i was told to try Virgin, i think it might be same system anyway
