Sorry for asking.. still a newbie with Clios.
Air con? I haven't got a button for air con on my dash... someone will know?
I want to clean the crank sensor but struggling to reach it
Took a few photos yesterday evening
What a great little motor.
Not bad for an iPhone I don't think... Shame I don't own a proper DSLR, otherwise I'd be entering the 2018 Calendar comp!
If you struggle getting in and out of cars.. go and purchase a large and spacious one...
Not really, just my opinion. I think the only hatchback that can get away with it is the A45 AMG. Otherwise they ruin the sporty look entirely.
Anyway, I'm done now. Don't want this to drag on any futher...
Yes, of course you can judge a car's design by how many doors it has lmao... what are you on about?
Go and buy a Land Rover then?
I honestly don't like any of those cars. Including the last one.. I'll keep my mk2 Cup thanks (yes I know it's f**king slower don't bother going down that route)...
Seems I upset a few people with my 5 door comment.... oh dear.
5 doors just completely and utterly ruin the look of any hatchback. For example, the MK3 Focus RS just looks like a souped-up school run car, designed for mum's to nip down to Morrisons in to do the weekly shop. The MK2 RS on the...
Are you sure you've bought a Clio 172 Cup?
One of these things?
Because what you're saying isn't making a whole lot of sense.
The driving position is spot on in my opinion, and on standard suspension it's pretty forgiving? Yes it's no Rolls Royce, but be honest with yourself, what were...
It is a strange one! Can't explain it as of yet. I'll let you know if I get anywhere
Thanks for your help. Yep linkages are gonna be first port of call.
Can't see an oil change doing much, but I've got no idea when it was last done. So may as well get it done now, may solve it, who knows.
Did...
Hi guys,
Just recently, I've found my 172 Cup is struggling to engage reverse gear. The collar on the stick pulls up and springs back freely, exactly how it should feel going into reverse gear. But when lifting off the clutch I sometimes find myself going forwards rather than backwards!
Takes a...
Busy Saturday morning
Fitted Battery Cover as recommended by @182_steve . Looks far better, just need an fusebox one now.
Also fitted Powerflex upper engine mount along with a Evol Engineering dogbone lower mount.
First impressions...wow. What a difference! Whole car feels a lot tighter now...
Looks nice and clean mate, any ring pics?
Surprised it took so long to notice the broken coilpack plug though, would have been one of the first things I'd have check! Live and learn eh, French cars for ya.
Autoglym paint sealant working it's magic this morning.
Thought it looked pretty mean without the front plate as well, see how long I can push my luck for.
Looks great buddy, need to get myself a rear arb after all the good things I keep hearing!
Personally I prefer the gold F1s all day long, but the 172s still look great.
RS looks the absolute business matey.
There's one that lives about 30 seconds from me and I can't help but stare at it everytime I drive past. Such mean looking cars!
Would definitely love to own one at one point, but can imagine the upkeep being pretty high!
Great looking car mate, like mentioned beforehand - those Willwoods look the absolute business.
Don't think the Superturismo's complement them though? Not sure what wheels do fit over them, but I think some ultraleggeras/1.2s etc would suit the car better - or even Turini's if they'll fit!
Couple of updates to share with you all.
First of all, filled in the gap on my Sparco wheel with a horn. No idea how to wire it up but at least it looks far better.
Excuse the mess, missed out on it's weekly clean over the weekend unfortunately!
Also finally fitted a KTEC induction, what a...
