What about going down the 197/200 head route with cams..197 pistons in your block. @NorthloopCup cup was epic with that setup. Think it was 230bhp and a load more torque. Pretty sure that was with out itb’s as well.
Admittedly the spoiler is a bit gash but in the flesh it looks incredible. @White16valver no they didn’t but I could resist taking a sneaky pic. There’s also a Bugatti veyron owned by a 20 year old 🙄 The place was a petrol heads heaven! So thought I share a once in a life time car.
Probably half the weight. Doors probably more than half the weight. As for the boot not much in weight saving with the metal..plastic window will save loads
Audi Rs3 thought he’d have one over my cammed, throttle bodies and hi-comp 172. Was amazed as he went by she actually stayed with it. A RS4 Left me for dead! she’s not as quick as one of those
She’s written her own car off. The Clio is a lot stronger than a DS3. The week before she poured some sort of acid on every panel then last week she came and rammed the front of Clio pushing it back 6ft. Need front bumper, near side wing and head light and a full respray :rolleyes: Dumb cow...
@YorkshireKyle just a couple of questions I’m hoping you can answer. Do I need the reservoir from the mk3 as well or is the mk2’s good enough and can I get any 2.0l mk3 master cylinder?

Does anybody know if the Renault sport Clio MK3 master cylinder fits the Mk2 172?
Just wondering as I’ve done the 4 pot conversion and feel the peddle is a bit long. Would the other master cylinder shorten it ?

Ast vs gas/bilstiens. The dampening of the Ast is leagues a head of the competition. Obviously you can spec them to a softer springs and valves if you want a softer setup.

Strip any unwanted weight..sound deadening..air...
Might as well throw some high lift cams while the cover is off... basically a free mod..well you’ll save money in the long run and gain some more hp..obviously need a map to suit but win win...not sure if there’s much to gain with matched inlets but every little helps I guess.
