I can vouch for this guy (Nad), top bloke. He is based in littlehampton on the south coast. He does the geo set up on my Clio, the flocking is a side business.
Simple question. If all the cams were the same price which would you buy?
My take, it appears there isnt much between them in terms of tuning capabilities with 438 being slightly more favourable. Ultimately if you purchased 438's you are paying a premium for a disproportionate gain but a gain...
This is a great shame, a major headache and cost for Ford. Post warranty used values are going to crash through the roof if this isn't sorted. This will then harm the RS brand so it will cost Ford either way, they need to act fast...
Mine has the RS Tuner remap. You lose the 5k kick but have more power more of the time. It is an improvement and a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion but don't expect much (if any) higher bhp at peak power. A friend of mine already had the RS Tuner device so I only needed to buy the unlock code...
Welcome to the forum.
I have been watching and enjoying your adventures so far, always of interest as I have a very similar project on the go.
It gets expensive...
A friend of mine is selling his winter tyres, link to eBay below:

Unfortunately I do not have a build thread. I could take some pictures later on this week but I was trying to get a rough estimate of its value at this point.
So what's mine worth...

I attended a Brand Hatch track day, got 91 DB on the static and no issues on the drive by - limit was 87 DB.
I have also attended a Goodwood track day, got 85 DB on the static (I think I rev'd it a little...
Does anyone know of a good film/video editor for the PC (Windows 10)?
I have lots of gopro footage from track days which I would quite like to edit together.
Thanks
I am planning to get my cambelt / dephaser replaced early next year and at the same time looking to get cams fitted with a tailored remap on top.
I expect I will use Engine Dynamics in Essex for the work.
I would guess that the tyres would be in better health after 3 x 15 mins rather than 2 x 20 mins. The extra heat applied to the tyres in a single session destroys them. On occasion I have stayed out on track a little longer then 15 mins and my tyres start melting but that's just my experience.
The AD08r's are quite a soft compound and very effective on track - I use them. I tend to limit myself to 15 minute sessions, it's the last few minutes which overheat the tyres which causes them to melt them.
Also the car needs a reasonable amount of time to cool down before the next session.
Apparently my old exhaust wasn't an original 182 exhaust so it's difficult to compare. But I would say its probably a bit more boomy than standard but not too bad. Its fairly quiet until you really put your foot down.
90 db is only if I attend Thruxton track days, most track days I attend are 98 db. My old exhaust was 90 db and I would say they similar in noise levels but the PMS sounds epic!
