The M140i looked a handful around Goodwood but it was a damp session! Did you get many sessions in during the half day? I've got a couple of half days booked at Goodwood later on in the year.

Eventful testing day! Sorry to hear about the accident, these things happen. Sounds like you had a few teething issues with the Clio, at least it was on a testing day rather than a race day. Following your experience with interest.

Great buy! As a former RS250 and Cupra 290 (very similar to the Golf R) owner, you will miss the aggressive turbo from the VW but I am sure a remap on the megane will sort that. While the Cupra was a great car the megane felt more special despite feeling much slower. Enjoy!

A friend had the akrapovic system on his Clio 200 track car and it sounded epic! Even better than my PMS system on my Clio 182. He attended Thruxton which is only a 90 DB limit, the cat was fitted.

What's different from last time?

Nice, I recently bought a black Premier Edition EP3 as a daily and track car. Loving the engine but 230 bhp helps (k100, exhaust system, radiator), build quality is far superior compared to my similar aged Clio 182! Any planned mods?

Good to see the damage was only cosmetic and you were able to drive home. Easily done, I was pushing my Clio a couple of months ago at a Goodwood, unfortunately I hit something more solid... Hopefully you get the car sorted for next trip, great little project.

I have been offered a 2009 blue Clio 200 cup on 33k miles (no addional options), reasonable condition for its age. Years MOT and a service BUT it has not had a new Cambelt change (waterpump etc.). What’s it worth?

I think I passed you giving it beans over Goodwood at 10 am this morning. Good to see the car up and running for the summer ahead!

I often use the Clioman, Gary is always helpful and his rates are reasonable.

I am thinking of getting cams fitted as the cambelt is due this year. When fitted, will 428/438/197 cams make the car louder at track days - static test or/and drive by? If so, by much? Thanks, Speedy
