I would like to paint my 16" OZ F1's as close as possible to the original OZ silver colour, mostly as I have one boxed new wheel. Everywhere I have looked says the exact paint code is unavailable.
Has anyone tried a silver and found it matched the standard centre caps very well ?

I read up a fair bit on the pro's and cons of the DIY bottle and its interesting to hear everyones input. On the balance of cost and convenience (and the fact the system had pressure in it) I decided to give the bottle a try. Still working a treat, I will update with any further developments...
Ok, so long since an update. Lots done so thought I would post
New front shocks from Renault, seemed fine even after all this time but seemed the right thing to do having changed the rears.
New thermostat. Just for reference here is my needle position and ECU reading at 96 degrees. (Warm map...
Ok, revisited the gas pressure, in short it didn't have enough. Gave it a good top up and all icy cool now.
Gauge with compressor engaged now reads as shown. Disengaged it is in the middle of the red. (which is how two other good cars were that I checked).
Last regas was 10 years ago...
My aircon is not blowing cold. Initially the compressor was not engaging.
First I checked the pressure on the low side port, measured ok.
Replaced the pressure sensor. Compressor now engages, and stays engaged. But no cold air.
When I turn on the air con and the clutch engages with a clunk...
Unless there is another more detailed document, google 'clio 3286a' and the first hit is said document and includes information relating to the accessories belt.
The Autoleads one plugs into the back of the clock display and requires the top dash to come off, the connects 2 one goes on the end of the existing connector behind the head unit.
Mine did this and was replaced under warranty about ten years ago ! Memory is hazy but I think the starlock washers that hold the polystyrene bocks in the bumper were too tight and made it ripple, I have noticed quite a few like that.
Edit, I dug a pic out of mine out before it was swapped.
You may have already done it but possibly worth changing the cable as well. Mine was 90% better after a good clean but wasn't 100% until I changed the cable.
I bet, I hope I didn't come across too smug :p ! I had bought the one that needs access to the back of the clock. I was putting off fitting it and then saw a thread talking about the no dash out one by chance as most threads refer to the dash out one (hence buying one in the first place) !
There is a lead that let's you do it without removing the dash, I just got one and fitted it ok with my Sony HU. I reluctantly dithched the cassette HU as I loved the old school look but the step up in sound and practicality (Bluetooth for audio and phone) was well worth it.
speaker wise I am...
To me it sounds like the cam, aux belt and pulleys. On each occasion that I have had a full set of belts and pulleys the sound has seemed clearer to me. Like a whiney whistle kind of sound, but in a good, well sorted sort of way !
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Some pics as some crazed fanatics requested :D
Observations, upon opening the box, its very long and looks a bit silly at first. I suppose the blue bit is the 'slate'. As already commented and as I restored from a backup, its erm, just like...
