The speedo and rev counter works ok, yeah sorry i meant a second hand box. Fairly sure its clutch related, horrible burning smell when it happened. Will take a look in the week see what i find, hopefully its not too expensive.

The yanno kit i have replaces the ball joint housing, it completly eliminates all play in the lever and is stiffness adjustable. Also replaced the lower gear stick bushes with brass ones.

Should be a sticker on the inside of the fuel cap which says 98ron

Found out today the bilstein rear shocks have a different thread to the standard shock. The nut was slightly too big for them, can anyone confirm what size/type of nut fits the thread so I know what to get. Thanks.

Yes thats the one, cracking bit of kit.

Its at the front of the engine bay to the left, its awkward but you can get a spanner on it without removing the bumper.

Finished fitting the adjustable stiff shift kit, what can i say absolutley brilliant product. Everything from gear knob to gearbox now feels tight, shifts are a joy with a fluid and more purposeful feel. Chuffed.

Check the power steering sensor is tight, might need nipping up.

Took my gear linkage apart and started to fit the stiff shift kit.

Needs cutting and welding to make it fit, handy to have come mot time.

My back box has 2 hangers which i like very much.
