Mine idled at about 3k when i tried to reuse a nackered throttle body gasket.
A new one sorted it instantly.
Renault part number is 77 00 866 483 Somewhere around the £1 mark. My local stealer had to order it in from france however so took a week or so.
the hb3's just twist in mate.
Not done the conversion from single bulb to dual optic before but if you need to see how the dual optics are wired up as standard then your more than welcome to come down and have a look at mine.
the main benefit of coilovers is the ride height adjustability.
You can get versions that have adjustable damping and rebound but they tend to be big money.
There is currently a group buy on some vmaxx coilovers at a silly low price in the FS section if anyone is interested.

Id simply say try both.
I ran the 98ron cal file first, and noticed a slight inmprovement but nothing huge.
Yeserday i loaded the group n rst file and instantly realised it had had a serious effect on the car.
Try both, if your experience is anything like mine you should be able to clearly...
I tried both and for me the Group N was instantly noticable as giving way more power and torque throughout the rev range.
After i get a decat at some point in the future i will definately be going for a custom map.

I've had no isses with it, retained the original CAF feeds to it and all seems well.
No PTFE either.
Mind you it was 0 degrees on both of those runs which should help keep temps down!
Just loaded the data again and looked at it...
The road conditions were identical, the engine was well up to temp - live data indicating inlet temps at around 28degrees with collent temp at 85 on both occasions.
Both runs were done one day apart so pressures were identical.
Torque spike at the beggining is odd, not sure what is causing it...
Loaded the group n map on my ph1 today.
Really impressed with the difference. So much more driveable, you dont need to rev the nuts off it anymore to get it moving, however if you do theres now a big old shove up the top end of the rev range.

Used the performance analyser to get a benchmark figure before using any maps Over 3 runs gained an average of 108kW / 147Bhp atw. Works out at something like 174 atf which i am very happy with. Think i overestimated the weight of my ph1...
right this was an absolute mission.
Managed to get hold of one through work from pages, came in a couple of hours. Cycled down to work (havent been on a bike in 10+ years). Cycled back. By this time it was dark.
just refit the new cable in the pitch black but think i have somehow managed it...
Just got hold of my RS Tuner, just plugged it into the car and got it running, was looking at the live graph, blipped the throttle pedal and it just went to the floor. Cable has snapped clean off where it joins the pedal.

Got hold of some ph2 rear lights and both have some fairly noticable scratchs/swirl marks on them. One is noticably bad around the indicator/reverse light area, to the point where it clearly obstructs the light being emitted. Christ knows how they have managed to do it.
Anyway, whats the best...
that would be my plan of action.
unfortunately i dont have anywhere near that sort of money lying around at the moment.
6 months or so down the line though, its something i will look at.
