Ah rite - Im still a newbie :oops: Is there any problems with adjusting the torsion bar? Has anyone done it? if so did you need new shocks (are there shocks on the rear??) or anything? Also, does it effect handling at all? Thanks Dazz

Hi Im thinking of lowering the rear of my clio mk1 phase 1. Im not too worried about it improving handling that much, i just want it to look nice and low at the back. The front is low enough for me atm (standard height) however the rear looks like its on stilts. Whats the best way to do it...

will the panel really make any difference to performance? Im not fussed about how it sounds, but £30 for what seems to be a high quality air filter seems a bit much? I had a look at the green air filter element and that seems to look a better deal at just over £30. Any opinions? Thanks

Ok, i was just going by what one of my mates told me - guess that was a bad idea!!! He said that i wouldnt have spark plugs as there should be injectors on the clio. I told him that there is spark plugs and showed him, so we assumed that it didnt have injectors? Can someone explain a bit...

Yeah theres 3 bolts and a screw. Im sure its a carb cos ive got spark plugs instead of injectors??? I would get a pick but i havent got a digi cam :( Thanks Dazz

Hi Im thinking of getting an induction kit for my clio 1.4 rt phase I (92-K). However, any of the kits i look at for this car say they are the 3 screw in airbox ones? Mines got four? Is my car just different or are there other IKs available. BTW, mines the Carb version if that helps...

Hey all, THANKYOU :) Managed to fix it this morning, turn out the thermostat had fked :-( Oh well, only cost £15 for a new thermostat - me happy :) THhanks Dazz

i thought the thermostat told the fan when to come on? Even if it was bust, surely the air speed would have still kept the engine cool? Thanks Dazz

ok il have a look tomo. i sort of know what im doing, got a nice idea for the engine cooling system when i replaced the water pump on my old fiesta. Know most of the stuff, just not to sure where to find the switch or thermostat? Thanks Dazz

Hi all Tonight my clio decided to overheat. Id only been cruising and its pretty cool outside as well. Pulled over and loads of steam come out from under the engine :( I left it to cool for about 3/4 hour and the temp gauge had dropped to quarter. Decided to try and get it home (only a mile)...

Hi Ive only had my clio 1.4rt (92K - Phase I) a couple of weeks and was wondering if they have a rev limiter? Is there any way of finding out without going for a blast? Ive pushed nearly 50 out of 2nd and it didnt kick in then? Thanks Dazz
