I had a similar prob on my rt. The plastic bit that the book locks onto was loose. I unpopped the rivet holding the plastic cover on, popped off the plastic cover, tightened up the two screws, reassembled and voila, problem solved :) HTH Dazz

ok hears an example. i live on a hill and reverse onto my drive. i come down the hill doing about 30 (in 3rd or 4th) then as i pull up i dip the clutch, bring the car to a halt, pop it in reverse and stick it on the drive! guess that makes me mental then?!?!?!?! :-)
