Guide will more than likely be fine, its not a hard metal so wont really crack.
You can buy 1 new stem seal.
Your retainer is damaged and you will obviously need a new spring.
The collets are the 2 small half conical that lock the valve into the retainer.
Its not a spark plug do or die thing, the car wont develop fault, nor will it fail to run. You could stick any roughly similar plug in there and it will run.
But when people worry about the fuel they use and the ambient air temp, using the most suitable and efficient plug is just a good idea.
Yes, it would have been me you spoke too.
There is a tiny bit of play when fitting so you will need to visually check by looking down the ports when fitting.
And it must have been a mistake when packing for 2 sets to be sent, you can return one set when you return your manifold, please.

Quite correct, the cnc tool path doesnt know what its machining, it just follows the toolpath generated from the CAD drawing. Manifolds differ so much that some manifolds will have more material removed than others. I.e the RS manifolds...
looks like his is leaking from the edge of the cam cover, if it is just the bolts then there should be pools of oil on the cam cover. He can check for those to see what the exact problem is.
Exactly what i told him to do.
Its pointless to start playing with the chassis without an aim, and i dont even think Ben had an idea on how he wanted it to handle apart from 'good' lol.
You can keep throttle response linear with FWB, just loose the mechanical feel.
OEM installs have slower peak opening and closing to keep issues such as accel fueling and emissions under control.
I'm referring to using the stock ECU, not a standalone.......as per his request.
And it was an example, like my first post indicated........not a very likely chance anybody would take it on without some serious profit margins.
Most people forget one persons driving style doesnt not mean their setup reflects another persons.
Some people love REAL on the limit loose cars, and some get scares shitless by it.
Money? Probably in the region of 5-7k for a proper, quality solution........people will probably yell scandal, but its not cheap testing things, breaking things and redesigning things.
Could someone do it themselves? If they could they wouldnt have to ask. And i doubt any tuner would really...
I dont know of any FBW ITB setups, and its defeating your original question to retrofit FWB ITB's with a new standalone that can manage FBW throttles. Cost would be SIGNIFICANTLY higher than just doing ITB's the traditional route, and you'd still have to have someone able to deal with standalone...
Can it be done physically, sure......with a fair bit of work.
Can it be managed on the stock ECU......certainly.
Will anybody attempt it?....unlikely.
It takes alot of effort and funds to develop things, and development time is effectively lost time and money. When we all have...
I think he means if the AST's were on with the same front spring rate.
I think the main issue is that wild pokes and internet advicen is about the worst way to setup a car. I've told him to go away and gather some real world data and systematically change and test 1 factor at a time before...
Wont fit, diff bolt pattern and port shape, only the cyl spacing is the same, but F7 heads have offset ports in bigport spec.
Its a scroll manifold anyway so just as convoluted, its pumpin losses are lower however simply due to the runner dimentions being so large.
My manifold is just...
