Few questions now engine is almost re-fitted

pt4 is where pt1 is mean to connect too on a 182, on a 172 it goes to the breather baffle under the plenum.

    Throttle bodies group buy?

£1700 wont cover a 'comprehensive kit'. Unless there are volume sales, your asking a tuner give up the money he makes on labour and mapping in favour of mail order and instructions (which he would have to write FOC, and it would be LONG to prevent all day phonecalls with customers trying to...

    Fitting an oil pressure sender

Thats what I do. If your clever you can make an adaptor that will thread in and line up in the tightest available space, but tis far easier to get a peice of braided line made up with a T peice on the end so you can remote locate both sensors a little, its too tight in there otherwise.

Quick idea of bhp gain to mods!

You need to find some consistency in your comments. One minute its fine for a basically stock engine to those sort of figures, and now your surprised. Anyway, Steve has the RR printout, he can do what he wants with it. I didnt do anything to his car previously, so it would be in my interest...

    Cam Timing

its some spacers and longer locking gear due to the vvt pulley being bigger than the non vvt pulleys.

    Cam Timing

To do the cam timing procedure properly you have to loosen the cam pulleys.

Removing and refitting F4R head + valves

Timing tools. You'll need the pulley locking tool, the cam locking tool, the crank locking tool, a torque wrench and an angle torque gauge and something to rotate the assembly whilst engine is locked and belt is tensioned.

    Cam Timing

There is a selection of special tools needed and i would not even attempt the job without a complete understanding of the job at hand and the tools. Get hold of the manual and have a read. http://www.angel-works.co.uk/articles/f4rbuild.php Those are the tools needed and a brief guide...

Removing and refitting F4R head + valves

I'm sure i can rustle up a set of collets, a spring and retainer. That bolt and spring certainly does not drop into the hole lol, and i cant say if its part of the vvt solenoid as i've never taken it apart, but i very much doubt it is.

    Would Worn Engine Mounts.....

If you call me tomoz i'll get the prices together.

Removing and refitting F4R head + valves

By a complete headset for £90, it'll probably work out cheaper than all the parts bit by bit. I've probably got loads of spare retainers and springs.

Removing and refitting F4R head + valves

VVT plunger goes in hole to the far right of that pic, and there is only 1 of them. Those 2 holes are not blocked up. And i've never taken one apart so i wouldnt know the internals! If it is, you'll need another one of those too. Doubt you will need a new guide unless its ovalled, but...

    Would Worn Engine Mounts.....

Could well be, usually the gearbox mount bolt loosens or breaks.
