I got the old bolt out by cutting the head off and then basically destroying the ABS sensor. The thread for the bolt was then loose in the hub to easily remove with pliers.
I can run it without a bolt then?
Perfect thanks [emoji106]
I’ll drop a screenshot below of the information in the link in case any one else is searching for the same information and the eBay link has since expired.
I’ve just got a second hand NSF hub for my 182 Trophy that came with an abs sensor. I’ve cleaned it all up and wanted to replace the sensor and knackered bolt (rusted and impossible to get off without breaking the sensor).
Does anyone know if the below link is the correct sensor...
Thanks for the replies everyone.
It's a 182 Trophy, I assume this doesn't use the cup pack spec?
Edit: Actually, reading this, I think I need the 60mm spacing.
I think I know the answer to this one but I thought I'd post in case anyone had any clever ideas or solutions.
I took my NSF wheel off for the first time this week to fit a new arch liner and I noticed one of the bolts was very loose.
Upon inspection it looked cross threaded and when I...
Haha hopefully I don’t make that mistake. I’m following the below guide which suggests 11nm for the plenum bolts. Does that sound about right?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve ordered a replacement gasket as it seems a little used, I was just wondering if it also needed and kind of sealant applying?
Does the inlet manifold gasket require any type of sealant or can it go straight on?
I'm replacing mine at the weekend when I change the spark plugs but I can't seem to find any information specific to the Clio.
Cheers (y)
I had another go at this tonight and sorted it. I took the steering wheel off again and aligned the sensor slightly more clockwise to fit in the gap better.
Saves a trip to get the sensor reset.
How sensitive is the steering angle sensor?
I've just taken my steering wheel off to fix the airbag cable and the ABS + SERV lights are on.
I took a picture of the exact position of the steering wheel and the sensor when removing the wheel. When putting the wheel back on the sensor must have...
It was pretty easy. The only time consuming part was filing down the hole for the new USB connector to fit in.
I've linked the one I bought below (although it seems to be a different colour now). It comes with the connectors so you can simply cut your old cables, strip them and then crimp them...
I disconnected the seatbelts from the bottom bracket, extended them all the way out and then trapped them on the outside of the car with the door.
Then submerged them in a bucket of almost boiling water with wash powder and scrubbed with a normal dish sponge with a scouring pad.
Really easy and...
Cleaned my seatbelts and got some very funny looks from people walking by .
I think they've come up pretty well considering how bad they looked before.
It doesn't seem to be pulling in any direction, possibly favoring the right slightly.
I've only had the car a week and that scan is the only evidence I can find of the car being aligned.
Any ideas on the ESP alignment issue too?
I've just dug out the attached from the previous owners documents. I'm guessing this could be part of the issue (going off the last sentence on the document)?
I picked up a steering wheel today to replace the awful aftermarket wheel the previous owner had fitted.
However, I'm having a few issues which I'm hoping someone on here can advise me on.
1. When the wheels are in a perfect straight line the steering wheel is about 20 degrees rotated to the...
I'm not new here but I've not been around for a while.
I've had a few Clios (1.2 for first car, AB 182, BG 182) and now the Trophy.
Always wanted a Trophy and now finally have one. It needs some TLC on the interior and some external changes (missing splitter, boot badge is black). Mechanically...
