Too much 3 wheel action to photograph today, every Clio was up on 3 wheels at least three or four times per 1 minute lap. Great to watch!
No helmets required, although I think nearly all of us had them if needed.
Had an awesome day at Haynes Motor Museum today, great little twisty circuit which was really fun to fly around. Good bunch of people as always and the weather was spot on.
Anyways, 100 pictures now uploaded and available full size here...http://chrisharrison.smugmug.com/gallery/1645102...
Rich, truely awesome. You've notched the quality up another level or two in my opinion, best I've seen from you yet (and that's no mean feat as it is!).
I'm guessing it's down to practice, practice and more practice.
Probably a rare thing...a spoiler that actually generates some needed downforce and so has a worthwhile purpose. I'm sure looks took a back seat to stability :)
You don't understand the happiness this day has brought me, I've been waiting all year for this!
I no longer need to worry about some 17 year old in a Corsa smashing into my car at 35mph in a small car park. It's just S25 CUP and acres of glorious concrete.
...and it's on 8 replies...
Nope it's a College Car Park, usually park in the staff car park during term time to avoid the insane destruction derby that happens in the student car park. But in the Summer there are only a few of us manning the place, so I take the student car park for myself (and still feel the need to park...
They never include the 172 Cup in anything, have they never been fans of it? Seems strange as many journalists regard it as a bit of a back-to-basics classic. They like using pics of it when discussing the 172 though so at least they like the look of it!
1.2? I loved my Dynamique, as has been said...RS grill, maybe some colourcoding. Get it on good suspension and pay for some good tuition and you will have a surprising track weapon, if that's your thing.
K-Tec are worth a look for various things.
Have you seen one in the flesh? The arches are pretty huge imo, much more of an increase over the standard model compared to the difference between the MK2 and the 172/182.
As I've said it has a bit of mini-V6 about it in width terms. With a slight drop in height it will look awesome imo.
Ok boss! The missus is on camera duty actually as I'm running so won't have as much opportunity as I normally would to snap away at everything in sight. We have Rich coming though don't we? He will have to do ;)
After the initial rush to get some pictures up I left these for a while, went back and had a good sort through and edit tonight though and this is what I came up with. Not much track stuff as it was all too far away for many decent shots...

Rich = Legend!
I gave up on the ST thread after page 2 so missed your heated debate, I'm fully caught up now and gutted I missed it. You go girl, that was almost anger I sensed in your posts!
Good luck in finding a genuine 182 Cup that you actually want and is reasonably local, not actually that many about as it was a bit of a flawed release (182 with Cup Packs was the car of choice).
If you prefer the looks of the 182 I assume you mean the tailpipes as that's the only...
