Am I reading this right, is £854.84 the cost of the wheel only (not including fitting?)
That's insane, I thought it was around £300. I will go in and get a quote tomorrow from mine and see what price they come up with too!
And bump for people to PM me re: thumb grips or leather defect, any...
I will do a group photoshoot on Saturday at Haynes :) "Damaged Clio's this way please!"
Wouldn't normally get worked up about such things but considering the cost of a replacement (with fitting) it seems a worthwhile exercise.
Depends, mine is well looked after and has attracted offers of £7500, despite being the same age (nearly 3 years) and mileage (25,000) of some on here that are not even selling for little over £6000. And I need a wheel refurb!
They will level off at an average of £5k in the next few years I...
I'm currently penning a letter to the OFT regarding the steering wheel issue, however I really need pics, costs you've been quoted when the warranty claim has been rejected, rough transcripts from Renault UK and/or franchise dealerships etc.
Basically ANYTHING that may help, just PM me and I...
Not second best, that would be...
A172 CUP
In my opinion, just a 172 plate with random letters at the end would be better than CUR, as CUR looks as though you are trying but couldn't afford the real thing.
^^ Thanks, will play about and see what I can do before then.
EDIT: Got it thanks, completely different location in the folder that was hidden away, stick it there and it's fine!
Disconnected the phone, went into the pictures section on the phone and it's only my actual photos taken on the phone.
Connect it back up and look on my PC and it's my phone photos and the wallpaper images I've added, very strange.
wooo hooo 4 days to go. S25 is getting a clean on Friday night, tempted to strip everything out too, not because I want to go faster (because frankly, I'll be lucky to beat a ride-on lawnmower round the circuit) but because it sounds so good and raw.
I found out the pixel size of my phone and created some wallpapers, connected my phone up (Sony Ericsson W810i) and stuck the JPEGs in the pictures folder where my phone pics are stored.
Even though they are there (on the memory card) when I look on the phone they are nowhere to be seen...
A while back I downloaded a load of tracks from MSN Music, now I have a Sony-Ericsson W810i Walkman phone and wanted to transfer my tracks over to it. About half transferred over fine and the rest just refused to move.
On closer inspection all the tracks that won't budge have "Protected: Yes"...
You have to seriously think about what you watch imo, £43.50 gets you one hell of a lot of movie rentals in a month!
I have Freeview only now as the documentary channels always get sneaked into the top packages only which frustrates the hell out of me (none of the programming is "in-house"...
Ok I'll look into things and start putting something together later tonight. If possible I will need rough transcripts from calls to RUK or discussions with dealers (PM me if you like, I'm guessing I will need your full name at the very least). Some pics would also be fantastic, although I...
Seen this a few times I think, once in Bath. Also one that drives through my home town (Westbury) sometimes, might be the same one. I do know it get it's service at Platinum in Trowbridge!
Renaultsport Twingo sooooo needs to happen!
It's the same with anything I suppose, the car grows up with the original owners, the Golf GTi has got bigger and bigger, but the Polo and Lupo GTi have both come along to fill the void. Let's just hope Renault do the same.
Old school for me, I...
Space is awesome, then spend a lazy day at Aguamar water park! In fact you can do Ibiza and completely miss out San Antonio and still have an amazing time, we base ourselves in Portinatx, parts of that area are like being in the Caribbean for scenery and gorgeous clear water.
Nice work, it gets addictive although you need to be careful not to overdo it. I love these I took last year in Toronto then played with colour removal...
We seem to have a few DS'ers now so feel free to add yourself to this list, I've been playing my missus and random American teenagers for the past year!
Very very simple, this in Photoshop Elements but it should be similar with whatever you use...
I just use the magnetic lasso tool and run around the area I want to keep colour, then inverse the selection, then use 'remove colour' from the adjust colour menu.
I use it sparingly but it can...
Oms, you can play online without the need for any additional equipment if you already happen to have a wireless router. If you don't you need a little dongle thing iirc.
I've got a Media Player from Lik-Sang which you can store and watch books/videos/photos etc on etc, only £13 and good if...
I'm going into my dealer at lunch tomorrow, so I fully expect to come back angry and needing to write a letter to RUK tomorrow evening! Did they even look at your car ozzyo99?
The thing that annoys me is that it was spotless on Sunday morning, not a single mark or warning of any impending...
...and a steering wheel lock isn't going to cure the damage it's already received.
They sell Renaaultsport Clio's in Spain, France, Israel etc don't they? Temperatures get considerably higher in all those countries.
No worries! I can see how it could be possible in-camera but it would be very very hit and miss. Very easy to do in any picture editing software though.
Thanks for the comments all. Today it is now even worse, all down the right hand side its rippled and very coarse to touch. Think I'm going to have to cover it during the day with a sheet or something.
Will pay Platinum Renault a visit tomorrow, not expecting any joy at all though. Problem...
Another coverted!
I love my DS (chunky edition), been playing for over a year now and not even close to getting bored. I highly recommend Zoo Keeper if you see it cheap.
