Hi Guys, Ive done a search for this but still unsure about it. Is a de cat pipe actually illegal? A lot of them say Not For Road Use but I know a lot of people on here do have them. Am i going to get arrested for driving with one? Im fairly sure it will fail an MOT but I intend to just swop...

They uxxualy will "stress" the plastic and create marks on it. It has also been known to melt through the electrical wires not that I have seen this myself but I have seen it mark the clusters.

36 is eaily achievable but 40 is pushing it. It is possible though if you drive really really slow lol.

Probably because he doesnt live in the UK postage/duty etc I'm guessing...

Not that I know but from reading on here it would be 2.25 for a mildly tuned engine or 2.5 for a heavily tuned engine. Cant see there being a big difference either way though to be honest
