Tell me about it, remember I asked you if we could use the portaloo? I went over and used it then, just after I assume you must have used it. All I can say is I understand why those surfer/skaeboard dudes left it there and buggered off!
I'm giving Clio_Chris some serious evils in the pic on the first page of the gallery! I don't hate you that much Chris, honest!

Not so keen on them this time, think I had better results last time to be honest. Will tidy them up and see how they are though.
I'm feeling the need for a new camera to play with, which lens are you using and what did it cost roughly? Seems to cover a nice variation in focal length, I...
I was parked at Quarry too, quite a few Clio's parked back there but didn't see yours, there was a Monaco 172 and a Racing Blue 182 Cup that I noticed.

As long as you had fun thats what matters. Just had a glance through and I've got a few good shots of you on track. Will get them all online tomorrow hopefully.
A small sample of the 400 pics I have to sort through and tidy below, will have the rest up and sorted by driver in the next day or two.
Its operational apparently :)
Modded K-Series Elise
British Springtime
172 Turbo
Flaming Trophy

That dude is me, and not being biased but I think it actually makes it a better pic. :)
Got to say Omar, that is absolutely stunning. Doesn't look real, but in a good way, can't remember it being that sunny though :) I feel ashamed to post mine now.
I'm 6ft, size 13 feet. Have the seat as low as it will go and nearly as far back as it will go on the rails. I do have the steering wheel at its lowest setting, always used to have it raised but I find driving better with it low now, someone suggested it and I haven't looked back!
Spotted your car today, several XXX CUP's there today actually. Hard to tell who the owners are though so we didn't speak to many. Spotted Neil G's car from here too but couldn't see anyone about near it.
One of the Cups was going really well on the circuit, think it was the HLO one pictured...
Ah right, thats why I don't see the Trophy anymore then! Was worried he'd sold it or something. Suprised I didn't see you actually as I managed to bump into everyone else I knew that was attending. We did a couple laps (on foot!) of the circuit and spent a fair bit of time at Quarry Corner and...
More pics here http://chrisharrison.smugmug.com/gallery/1389830, messed up the link in my first post.
Some important safety advice from the staff at CC too...
Had to pick some jaws off the floor when we seen that thing! Looked stunning. Some great cars there today, VTEC engined Mini (insanely quick), some little Jap thing putting out 300bhp (Starlet? I forget), several P1s and loads more.
Excellent turnout today for the Perfomance Track Day, loads of Clio's on track and parked in the various car parks...
Loads more pics to be found here.
And some other machinery...
Big crowds as always, some heroic (and mad)...
They are there to be driven, as long as you get it serviced at the correct intervals it will go on for a heck of a long time yet. Sold my 1st Clio on 120,000 I think, still looked and ran as new and never once broke down, I'm sure its still going today 5 years later.
I've done nearly 15k in...
Got the Shampoo mentioned above, and the Hardcore XXX Paste from the site also (as well as a Microfibre pad), loving it so far, better than the NXT I've been using for the past year for finish and durability.
Still impressed with my Shampoo and Wax combo, usually by now my car would be a dust magnet and be in need of a wash, but its somehow stayed looking stunning, even with the intermittent light rain which often makes the car look pretty awful.
For some reason I've never worked out, the rear of...
He may be a relative newbie though. When I was building up to a first trackday everyone here was like "go at your own pace", "just enjoy it", "don't worry if you are being overtaken by everyone" etc. I'm sure if a video of me being followed/overtaken by someone in a 'lesser' car shows up one day...
Loads and loads of 182 owners who don't give a damn about any of that stuff, i spoke to a lady owner once and she just wanted the highest-spec Clio (clearly had a fair bit of money), the fact that it was a 2.0 didn't really come into it.
For every 5 owners who are passionate about them...
Re: lol... non RS clios heaps of sh*t!
I owned a 1.2 16V Dynamique for a few years, then owned a 172 Cup as well, then eventually sold the 1.2 and still have the Cup to this day.
I would never call the 1.2 a crap car by any stretch of the imagination. It handled beautifully, was reasonably...
Not too many things besides the normal stuff. If they've kept all the receipts have a look to see when the tyres were changed etc, could give you an idea as to how much its been driven really hard. 12-15k is average for the fronts but I know people have shredded tyres in a lot less than that...
Discovered this site today, http://www.dyno-plot.co.uk, not seen it mentioned here. Pretty interesting read if you have time to kill.
Added my Clio atw figures onto it, nice to see I'm not the least powerful car on there but I'm not far off!
