wrong grade though. (Agreed is good stuff)
From my experience the boxes are very picky about what oil you use. After using different viscosities myself. use the right stuff
But its possible the syncros are starting to go. Wouldnt have said its the clutch
3rd gear is a very common...
Whats the mileage?
What oil did you change it with
Read my posts on this thread they will help ;)

chain lube? What you been smoking?
Just spray it through the butterfly trying not to get on the electrics.
Get your ass down halfrauds for some brake or carb cleaner
I think its the sulphur in it if I recall correctly, If you remeber that stuff from school days its the yellow stuff that smells like s**t!!
What exactly does extreme pressure mean in an oil mean? An educated guess would be from my part is that it doesnt compress (ei can tolerate extreme...
Yepo its pretty good stuff doesnt smell very nice though!
Castrol seem to be one of the only companies to do 75/80

My advice would be to whip them out and check they are okay. If the cars running fine then my attitude on things like plugs are if it aint broke dont fix it. Same with leads.
They do detoriate over time but in all honestly there be fine for ages yet. (more than likely)
I'm with you 150% honestly use the correct stuff I'v used the following
80w GL5 - Useless far to thick old stuff was better!
ATF - Better but still ground into 3rd
Finally used some castrol 75-80w GL5 Great stuff gearbox smooth as your mothers brother and stopped the grinding too. :cool...
Few Qs
1. Are they still on now? (lights)
2. Have they come on before or is this the first time?
3. Assuming the brakes are still okay??
Could be quite a few things really :( hard to diagnose
see my thread matey, did the starter cut itself out as in you try and start it but its as if its got a flat battery?
I'm going round some local part places tommorow to see if I can pick one up.
If your in need of a pump matey I can do you one for a good price :)
But in all honesty I wouldnt want to sell you something that doesnt sound like its going to cure the problem. Which I dont think it will :(
But if you are interested gimme a holler
lol went to test it just a second ago and it did the same again its still fooked. Will need a new one I think. How much from renault guys?? I dont think I need the loom do I as its a 182?
Nah to be fair the new engine didnt come with one its mounted on the gearbox...
I'v given it a session with a brass brush and some electric cleaner (robbed from work really strong stuff) and its gleaming again. How long it will last it anybody guess really...
There not cheap to replace :(...
FYI Everyone it was the TDC, cleaned it much better but still jerks need a new one really
So if you have similar symptoms to me thats what it most likely is going to be
Turn the starter and it stops itself its gunna be the tdc.
Glad your happy XxX
Theres no benefit to using them over standard ones
Even though I also have them too :D I realise a lead as long as its working is going to make diddly squat difference other than it looks pretty. But they sell well as uneducated people think itl make a difference LOL...
You realise breathing mods will make it pick up quicker so you wont notice the kick so much honesttly.
Are you getting RRed with another 182. Youl see a smoother curver I assure you.
TDC sensor located on gearbox - Symtomps gearbox lgiht coming on.
Coolant was changed a few days ago bleed screw is above sensor
Engine would try and tickover for a second or so until it realises it cant get a TDC reading then give up
First thing to check for sure thinking about it!
Some...
