i think its down to luck when your selling your car! i mean my mate was well lukcy. Eager buyer who didnt shop around, didnt check the awful state of the arches, the crunching gears or the only just legal tyres!
Me and the misses are gonna sell our cars and get a 172 or 182!!! need to get some money for deposit and get a small loan for the rest!
I think 1k is reasonable considering its overall condition and the added parts which - prob get just as much stripping it but i have not got the space to do it!
its done 10600 - my mate sold his for £1500 to a little chav and his had done 114k!! the bloke looked at it and bought it on a raining dark night - silly bugger!! i hope to get around the 1k mark!!
Whute valver on a k - in good condition, no mot or tax at present but could get 12months mot if required.
15" F1 Cups
Full stainless & de-cat
New brakes all round
Some history
£1200 receipt for engine re-build about 18months back
Might be thinking of selling and was wondering what i...
I have 2 amps - 1 under each seat!! all wired in by.... me!! nothing on show and if anyone was to attempt to nick them they would be there for a while as they would need to take the seats out and undo the amps that are bolted to the floor!
A Dark diablo red sort of colour? there is one down my way and im sure it did not used to have sport badges on - whats the things to look out for that differ from a real 172 and replica? are the side basges the same?
Think my birth certificate lies though, i neither feel or look 26!! more like 20!!! one day i will grow up!! lol!!
Fiat coupe is very tempting - especially after April pay rise!!
But saying all this, your forgetting that the valver is a 13 year old car now!! so to stay in relative touch with its newer more advance bigger brother is quite some acheivement! IMO of course!
Be aware that not all companies accept your 3 years free insurance as NCB - just been informed by my mate who works for a insurance company!
Not that it affects me as im old (ish)
Just make sure you ask them if they accept it as NCB before you accept the quote!
I saw a P1 with plate P1 HOT - class!!
Also, i know that the number plate P1 LOT was sold for stupid money at an auction!!!
My mates old turbo nova read A 16V TB!!!
Fingers crossed!!!
Lights are all working, tyres are legal, new brakes being fitted all round today, body is solid.....
what else should i check over?!!
