And I thought carrying around a DSLR was noticeable, that thing looks obtrusive!
Remember nobody here is going to get a DSLR to primarily shoot video but its going to be amazing to have as an optional feature, specially with the D90 starting at 700! & people are already tied into the...
Are you shooting Manual? Point it up but pointing a little forward or if your really close straight up, imaging the light traveling in a straight line, where you want it to hit the roof and come down again onto your subject etc.
You been shooting just the cat as hes a hard subject being...
If you do mean ''off camera'' then the 420EX is going to be useless as it can only fire at full power as a remote slave.
If you mean camera mounted then shoot with the camera in Manual and the flash in auto, up the ISO for ambient light and bounce from the ceiling. Maybe shoot in RAW if...
I'm not condemning the pictures for what they are, someone playing with HDR whilst on a meet but to call them awesome :P
You don't need super cars either, it does help to have an expensive scafold rig for some shots but not essential. I'm sure Chris can show us some great car shots of...
They just scream nice cars, bad location, average composition with some HDR thrown in to try and make up for it.

+1 for Photoguard, am paying £12 per month, far cheaper than my car insurance and my gear is worth many times more than my banger. Thats only a few quid more than phone cover, which is a rip off. Also hear good things about them should things go wrong unlike other companies who prefer to drag...
Thanks! XXXL it is pending my gear sale.
Found a review on POTN that swung it, managed to get an unmounted 70-200 f/2.8 inside..

After I sell my Lowepro (see bottom link) I'm looking for a bigger home, I already have a big home that holds ALL my gear but need a day to day run around.
Looking at the Crumpler Pretty Boy but what size do people recommend. Needs to hold 2 lenses, a body, flash + have room for bits like...
Just the 24L f/1.4 II so far (which didn't really need revising!), the 24-105 F4 IS is still the perfect 'kit lens' for FF. Still time for a few updates etc before photokina though..
wow, same price as a 1D MKIII lol
Its not a sports camera, its a wedding, portrait and landscape camera so 3.9fps is plenty. Anyway, I'm not buying one anytime soon lol
Full Moon :D

Unless you see ISO 6400/12800 and a higher resolution screen as essential I'd snap up a 40D personally, love mine, the 350D has never felt nice to use since.
Thats a nice 3 lenses to have, trying to shift some gear and head for something similar if I can let get go of my f/1.8's
Have a look around for backpack/camera bags, maybe find one big enough to hold all the gear in the bottom then day time travel gear can go up top... I'd rather not have my...
Update:
Kit lens @ F/32 @ 55mm with Auto Contrast added after, no prizes for anyone who can tell which one is the after shot..
Might have a crack at those last few specs later but rather happy, can sell the thing now!
err been up a week, rumored to be revealed on the 15th-17th
Nah, not a 50D, supposedly the 5D replacement, doesn't have a pop up flash so its something full frame..
wow, 2001 digital technology, I'm sure its still very capable (in a studio) but its not going to be fit for 90% of what people on here shoot, 0.5fps, ISO100 + 48mb files, give me the Sony ;)
