OEM - Is Original equipent (ie from renault)
You only need to drop the subframe to fit the manifold so you should be fine :)
Straightforward job just awkward
As mentioned above i would make sure that the leads and coilpack/s are dry and the cabling going to it. White smoke could possibly be a water build up take it for a rag when the engines running okay and see what happens.
I dont know how you have managed to blow in hole in your cat did it...
yep - you shouldnt really drive it when its missing though its not good for the catalytic converter mine was spluttering the other day but as i havnt got a cat not really a prob!
Thanks ill give them a go sometime in the near future.
Whites a good idea though surely will show the dirt so you dont wipe it over the paintwork?
I suppose once theyv been used though...
I'm not saying its a rip off or anything just personally think id rather have £1500 and put it towards something more constructive thats just how i feel i thought that was why these forums were here to discuss the pro and cons and how you feel about something. So saying you hate it when someone...
mark - i was just looking at some of your other videos and what is that beep i can hear periodically?
Kind of like a beep..beep then a little later beep beep again, whats that all about?
The ones iv got are unbranded but they supposedly have got 300,000 strands PSI. Got them from CYC
If the big man recommends Poorboys DMT, where can you get then from? did have a look around but couldnt find them
I just had a look on the website it doesnt tell you anything about it mainly because its not made for enthusiasts like us but the average joe. If your serious you wanna either get a PC a megs polisher or adapt an DA sander for polishing.
I got a PC not so long back and im pretty happy with it...
Enjoy the car for what it is, spending £1500 or so on something that gives you about 15-20 brake isnt really worth it in my opinion especially on a clio, youl never see that money again
I was doing mine today but my expensive Microfibre was still marring the paintwork bloody black clios!! What microfibre do you use on the baby which doesnt marr?
You can take the actual lamp out and just leave the black surround intact and use that as a feed but youl have to change it for the MOT or remove the other one too, Personaly i think CAFs are a waste of time anyway
You wont get any 'ram air' effect I have just removed the feed to the acoustic...
theres loads of pics if you do a search for cold air feeds or something in sure youl get an idea
A lot of people cut a small portion of the front grill and the liner out so to get a feed in about 70-80mm is ideal any bigger and its a bit of a squeeze
Do you do a lot of stop/start driving cos this would cause moisture to build up my old clio did this but was advised to give it some beef down the dually and get it really hot, checked oil later and was absoloutely fine :D
