Brake fluid + braided lines make sure they got life in them
trye pressures
Coolant etc..
make sure engine is in good running codition

On the 2.0 models is there a bleed screw or not? couldnt see one looking the other day but you probably have to remove all sorts to get to it!
Will change mine at my 36,000 mile service which is soon but shudnt get to cold down here

There be a few people on here with a spare one im sure that will help you out, get the part number off them if you can, fitting is literally a 2 minute job
If you suspect its the alt, then get a voltmeter on the terminals without the engine running then while running, then check the readings thats will confirm or elimate this possibility then
