You shouldn't need to clay often at all. Do it once, and then regular proper maintainance should prevent the need to.
Your paint is soft as s**t so I'd be very VERY wary of doing it more than absolutely necessary.

Do you use it as a daily? I used mine for about 6 months as a commuting car and it was fine. But that was, at most, 2 miles max and a top speed of 30mph! Lol

If I still drove for fun - Christ I used to think nothing of doing £100 in fuel on a weekend just driving something mental - then I'd have something that I commute in AND have fun in. But I don't. So I won't.

You can get a non-remote key from most high street key cutting places. They will copy the immobiliser part. Our local place charges £30 for a fully working key.
Ideal for an emergency key. Less ideal if it's a regular key as you'll lose the remote locking option.
