    cheaper tyres softer suspension handling IMO is better as its softer which wilst people believe rock hard suspension and no side walls means faster its doens't.

    Nope they charge a minimum free between £20 and £80 to run it. The computers not cheap £5k plus licences etc so they need to make money with it.

    Don't bother with spending on springs either spend a lot or not at all on suspension mods. If you realy want get the eiback springs there the only ones I'd recomend if I realy had to. 60mm drop ins't a problem it will wear dampers and depnding upon which springs you use etc. don't...

    Nope no need for a gasget the cover is held in place with 2 nuts facing forward easy enough to remove its just there so in a crash the injectors won't hopefully leak fuel.

    engine could have cut out as it had any number of faults maybe the knocking of the engine affected a sesnor if your worried take it to a garage with the correct equipment to read the fault codes

    Depends best way is subframe off and drop them down out but you idealy need ramps. Otherwise engine and box out the top as one. Any JC or JB box realy ie anything from a Clio v6 and 197 excepted and loads of other renault sie Megan/senic etc.

    Sounds like the common issue of the loom being damaged. Best fix it to take it to some good electrician and get him/her to repair the loom thats the common issue the loom gets worn on the protective bracket. Renault dealers fix it just to replace the looma but if they think the euc is gone...

    HELP! Car cutting out!

    Your car doesn't have the inertia button so thats out. I'd get the car plugged into a diagnostics machine see what fault codes are being thrown up but check the throttle body and the tdc sensor see if there clean/working.

    Unplug the airbag computer and run it without I don't think it will be the issue though. As for your other question does he car work on on the Renault clip?

    rear discs

    Rear disk are easy enough there a guide on here. nope bearings should never be resuded it a pain to get them out if you do you'll end up breaking them and there worn anwya so just get new ones and new disks.

    Best oil depends where your using the car etc. Silkline is popular but nothing amazing. The carlube stuff should be fine. Fuel filters fine for 150k Polen filters easy remove the scuttle panel on the drivers side undo the bolt covering the slot and replace the filter. Servicing...

    Could be the teeth on the gogs the electric motor moves having worn or broken its more common as the cars get older.
