Have a look in the manaul its a bit wierd but basicall you push the buttom bit of the key forwards towards the metal key as such and it slides of with some force. CHeck your car battery could be low causing the issue. Alarm will not go off if not activated.

Check the plugs probably a bad connection.

11mm from memory you realy need a brake spanner to take them off
