    The cars not type approved its nothing to do with weight Renault didn't dem or have the car tested there are ways round it but idealy its a rubish tow car Tow with one and insurance is invalid.

    Might be worth gettingnit chekced the throttle pdalworks etc but also the egr value is clean and the cars been serviced etc. turbos starts boosting much lower 1.5k ish its making a positive boost but its only at max boost by 2k.

    The intake ones doens't though from memory that the one I was on about im half asleep don't read or think staright. Its the bottom row of bolts which don't match up. Are you over in Sweedon now?

    72k or 5 years whicevers sooner I'd never leave it longer than 60k or 4 years though and that for normal driving. Harder or short drives I'd get it chnaged even earlier again renault in some conditions say 52k. check the speedo works using this Clio Mk2 fault finding dashboard trick...

    Holes are often to big or the stuff doens't have enough in it or it just poors out thn your left stuck until the rac etc can get a tow truck for you. Plus your not popular with tyre fitters when they come to fix it a puncture can often just be patch repaired if you use that stuff though the...

    What size are the cans of Renault tyre weld in 172/182 cups ?

    IMO get a spare wheel its much better. I think the cans are 300ml form memory. I'd get the 500mm anyway but again I'd never use the stuff.

    drums at the back are fine brakes only matter depending how your gonn ause the power stock ones are fine depending how you drive.

    check the brake fluid is full. Then check the handbrake warning switch/connector.

    The weld stuff will set the tyres pressure or least it should. I'd never use the stuff its rubish.

    H7 I'd recomend the halfords one the 50% uprated stuff its not much beter if at all but they last longer and cheap.

    The rs one ins't a unique part its just renault don't sell them seperate its good practice to change the whole arm anyway.

    If you've done a search then most your questions have been answered. i woulnd't bother though get a 172 its easier or stick a different engine in unless you want a project to spend money on which you'll never get back.

    Williams suspension part list (how to covert a 1.8 16V to it). http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=166244 Sounds like a good idea though a bigger engine there quite small from meory so shoulnd't be a huge issue its not like a tank engine trying to fit in a mini.

    Idle of 1.2 16v

    The rpm gauge isn't accuate at very low rpm. should be about 750rpm but get it plugged into a computer and you'll see the real revs the car is making. As for missfires check the coils and tdc sensor and throttle bodies.

    I'd take the door panel off and run 12 v to them and see if they operate firtl then check for voltage to them.

    Nope mount them near the seat and other strong parts the shorter the blts the better since they stretch when in a crash etc which isn't what you want them for.

    There two sets they sell one for £90 ish the other for £40 ish. The expensive ones are much much better. still both types wear qucikly.
