I used to watch the gearbox classes at Kimbolten when I raced karts, the 0-60 was the best part about them! Apart from the top championship level stuff they tend to be have quite a few larger males competing in them though ha! Those who were too heavy for the direct drive stuff!

Yeah that's the insulation, mines looking equally as knackered! But looks like yours is hanging off much more. And yeah as said the 4k rattle is your noise. Not the cat, most likely the centre silencer. Replaced my exhaust cat back and it's cured the problem.

The exhaust note on these alone is amazing. I borrowed my cousins for a weekend last year and fell in love with the noise!
