Cheers for the replies, I'm doing a trackway end of the month and so wanted to test out my new ferodo/brembo hc front set up after bedding them in, took the car to an empty lane and did several hard stops and after like 5 the pedal softened up and headed to the floor. I thought I'd cooked the...
Just wanted to confirm, if the brake pedal starts to soften and head to the floor, and the discs and pads aren't showing signs of overheating, would this mean the brake fluid has most likely boiled?
I've pretty much got this exact issue. I don't think mines as extreme as yours as it's more of a gradual pull to the left, but it's definitely there and nothing to do with road camber as I've checked it on numerous surfaces.
When you say grab the wheel and shake it, do you mean get it jacked up...
It pulls to the left despite it being aligned recently
Front tyres are barely legal
A rear wheel needs balancing as it vibrates above 75mph
Rear wiper seems to rest too low
Needs belts done
It's a track virgin
Good luck mate! When I took my test for my race license the written test was literally just 10 questions about flags. So easy! Albeit that was when I was 10 in 2000, assuming they don't give you that cringe video tape as well in the pack ha
I personally think the original Cup/carbon splitters look best, but not £100 worth better!
With the car up on a ramp it was a 10min job, just drilled pilot holes and screwed it on
Cheers mate! It did take a good hour to get it sitting straight as it shifted a couple mm when hot, but think it's in a good position now. Not mm perfect, but very close!
After driving around with my blowing old standard exhaust system for 2 months, I fitted my new Ktec JP cat back system, and must say, it's awesome! It's probably a bit louder than I'd hoped at low revs, but it more than makes up for it when you give it some beans! Here's a cheeky vid I filmed...
Ha good to see you've got back on here finally!!
Yup it will sound exactly the same, it's the same design.

Stupidly expensive but IMO I'd only be wanting it even if I'd have saved £150 and got a cheaper system.
EDIT: if...
Looks good, definitely can see the lift off oversteer a couple times! Car does look a bit understeery but still pretty planted, and you can see you managed to adapt your lines to it! Was this with road tyres?
I'll be interested how mine responds when I take it to Bedford with a completely...
Is that last pic a Lotus Elan under the cover? Absolutely love them, my dad used to have one and I'd love to have one some day!
EDIT: just noticed you said it's a 26R. Awesome!
I've bought the JP Ktec exhaust (wanted one when they were a Yozza but didn't have the money, and can't wait long enough to wait for the new BTM one as my current system is literally falling off). Very excited though, gutted I can't call it a Yozza though!
Sweet cheers guys. Yeah I hadn't heard in the car world of bedding in an exhaust but I remember from my karting days sometimes we'd give it a lap or two before giving it the beans. Guess that was a totally different system though , being a 2 stroke and all!
And sounds good seltking, much better...
I'm fitting my new stainless steel exhaust this weekend, cannot wait as I've been cruising about with a blowing standard system since the start of December. Haven't passed 3k revs for a long time!
Just wanted to know, what's the best way to run in the system? Or is it a case of bolt it on and...
I've got a track day coming up in a month, and wanted to film some on-board footage. I have a Panasonic video camera, it's not HD but it's something like 720p so not too bad. I have heard that some people run their video cameras in their glove boxes, and run an attachment that has a camera and...
I've just ordered a cat back exhaust for my 182 off KTec, and wanted to replace all the main parts as my exhaust is the original one. Is this set of parts all I would need to fit a cat back system?

Would anyone know of a...
I've just received my Brembo HC front discs and Ferodo DS3000 front pads. I'll be doing the swap soon so wanted to know how I should bed these in most effectively, as I've only ever had cheap brake discs and pads on my cars before, and never race parts. The instructions on the pads say do...
