The airbag module will leave the service light on the dash lit, I used a little timer to control the warning light, on with the ignition and goes out after 3 seconds, moving the yaw sensor will keep the system fault free but may screw up the operation of the traction control......if you ever use...
Mine's a track car but road legal to get to circuits and back , really not much of a problem but would be horrible on a daily, cruising in 5th you have to have a hand on it to shut it up. I'd rather it wasn't there though so if this cures it I'll fit it :)
I considered then right up to yesterday, found so many poor reviews it put me off. My RC6 have performed perfectly but annoyed they're almost dead after two track days 😧 I think I'm going DS3000 from George next time.
Stu, just for comparison, the DS2500s lasted 6 track days, there was material left but were crumbling. No comparison in stopping power but wish there was more meat on the CLs :grimacing:
HC discs for me too
Best plan, far too many on here take so long tinkering it doesn't even make it to a track lmao I tinker/learn as I go along, keeps me interested, also means it always feels like it's improving. It only took 10 months of track days to finally ditch the carpets lol
As Dan mentioned, worth it purely for not bouncing off the limiter on track as you'll hear from other Clios at Kirkistown, especially leaving the hairpin, no real power gains but it definitely feels better on track.
I've almost 6 deg of castor using my AST top mounts, and yours are maxed?! Castor made the most difference to mine IMO, definitely something not right there.
Car's looking great :)
Cage is £659, white powder coat is £60 (black is standard) + delivery......not cheap but perfect fit and resale value swayed me, I saved for months to get it!
I went for a safety devices 6 point bolt in from a Mark Fish Motorsport group buy on here, will always be worth selling when I'm finished with Clios
I've had two and the Mrs had one so we're fans! Never heard them being described as having too much grip, they go sideways so easily and flatter the driver it's so easy. The only complaint is they just aren't fast enough. They suffer from rusty rears these days, but actually pretty well screwed...
