There been a few ITB,camed,head work been done before now which would be over 303hp. Plus theres always the rumoured bigger cc ones which run even more.

Depends hwo much you want to do 1.6 bottom end head work cams different throttle body match up and full engine back manaifold and exhaust will get more power but for the price you could stick a 1.8 or 2.0 and get much more power and more reliabilty as its designed to run at that level.

You need to get the player very hot for it to give up. I've managed it once and that was driving for 3 hours none stop with the heater on full blast and the vents open and the car full.

Yep sort of if you strip them down to that level. Angelworkds are doing some development work on a 1.6 at the moment. Don't forget there are a laod of versions realy with VVT or noe and manaul bodies but at block level its ok realy.
