my 1.2 dosnt mk a ticking noise, but a beltish noise. i to thought alt, but i took it off and it wasnt. i replaced water pump, and cam belt and tensioner....still there!!
i have noticed tho, that it only happens when the engine gets warm!! like when the thermostap opens to let the water flow...
yeah did them, but they dont really work as they work off 1 buld.led for all 3, and the orange tinting is built in the clock/dials! doh! i mihgt see if i can get a brighter led for the dials and clock, as the blue led does make the display look white instead of orange!
its easy to do, its a b**ch to get the oil back in tho as the filling whole is on the bloody side! bit of garden hose and funnel works tho but its still a w**k to screw the plug back in lol
no you got it all there i think....its easy to do, the biatch one to do is the gearbox!
if you dont have oil filter remover, do it like the rest of us do, drill a hole right thru it and put a screw driver thru it, now turn lol easy as pie :)
this happened to my scenic once... it was on level ground and everything, all i did was remove the dip stick and put it bk in and it was ok :S i wonder if theres a sensor on the dipstick somewhere?!
im with MRBILLYUK on this one guys...the rust wont come back if you do it properly. first off, you need the air (humide air at that) to make it rust, if its sanded down, painted with rust remover/preventer and then primed/painted properly the rust wont come back for the simple reason the metal...
its 8k for wipelash now isnt it? and its not people claiming that puts up the premiums! its the people that crash into us! if they didnt we wouldn be able to claim!!!!!!!!! i say everyone should have to take a "checkup" test every 10 years. not as harsh as the driving test, but like a refresher...
woops theres more pictures....didnt see them. yeah i'll give you that. also if you look at 3rd picture (the one from the front) then you can see it clearly. that side shot picture still looks very much like a normal clio tho! lol. optical illusion!
i can see the arches on this valver....http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/cars_search.asp?page=4&modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=RENAULT&model=CLIO&min_pr=75&max_pr=&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=ws11+2qb&miles=40&max_records=200&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH...
umm no i dont think they are, the whole outside of the car looks the same as any other clio...i didnt think valvers had "flared arches", i thought that was only williams clios?!
heres a 1.4 to prove it looks the same, only diff is its got bigger alloys and has been lowered.
actually, saying that, it looks like a rich persons car/house, look at all the other cars around. maybe he didnt like the drive so just didnt drive it :S
