lack of oil would stop it going into gears...if it goes into gears when your not moving, then it sounds like its on the driveshaft side of the gearbox, no the engine side. if theres not enougth oil, the gearbox heats up via friction nd then makes a whining noise, it also become very hard to put...

check your gearbox oil! ask someone on here if you dont know how!

first off how old is your car? mines for a mk1 clio, and was very easy to put on. simply seperate the old exhaust from the first connecting joint behind the backbox, and then remove. the do the revers to put new one on. i got mine from halfords.

what would happen if you put like 120ron petrol in a car? would it screw up the engine? cos you could buy some of the redex stuff (this its plus 3 Ron to 30 liters) and mix it to like 5 liters lol. or btter yet, run it neat lol
