If you're going...DON'T DO THIS WEEKEND. Its the V-Festival in Weston Park which is near where ClioSpares are now based...you'll have a nightmare with traffic this weekend.
Don't say you haven't been warned! ;)
They don't do Sundays, it memory serves me correctly.

Got her from Stockport when I was living there, but have moved to Telford, Shropshire since then. but M* covers Manchester over to Liverpool!
Just gotta get my private plate done and on the car...

Get Advanced System Optimizer, its available from the internet and all good high streets (prices vary ;)) Amend the titlebar to say 'Internet Provided and Checked by Dad' - Do it when he's not around, we have a lad who is 13 just before the end of the month, so making sure he knows he can't get...
John, did you beat the over Rover Tomcat Coupe? If so, my mate was telling me that the guy driving it phoned him crying about being beaten by a Cup, so he came into work on Monday telling me.
He knows my Cup is good on the twisties, but was shocked to hear his mate got beaten!!
Donny
Should get another thread for that...but will need PM from Dave or Rebecca (HINT!!;)) with the location and postcode of where it is, and where we should all meet!
Donny
Chris, you were more than willing welcome... :rasp:
We're looking into arranging mini-meets around the Wolvo-ish area every other Wednesday, for meals, etc. Partners welcome.
PS. It was nice and dry inside! ;)
Donny
I've tried fairy active foam (a pound in Poundland!) and seems to work pretty well...only tried it after Fred recommended the Powerspray, so it must be as good!
Donny
Its the same engine as the proper 172, so just do a search for oil...and you'll see some of the recommendations. Silkolene 5w40 is a popular one, and if I remember correctly Oilman on here (IIRC www.opieoils.co.uk) can do it reasonably cheap.
Donny
I never feel happy when stuck in traffic...and you can guarantee that there is some prat doing 4mph in front of you...the Cup wasn't meant to be stuck in traffic...and just after that near Harbourne, some bint drove right across the front of me coming off a roundabout...lucky I had the brakes...
There is also Cliospares (now four ashes renault specialists near Wolverhampton). www.cliospares.co.uk
If you're from the W.mids, they can get genuine renault items a few pounds cheaper than the stealers!

Did you see a wierd black thing? Trying to look like an 'American Muscle Car', but its a 1970s Vauxhall Viva Coupe (Firenza)?
Just want to know if he got hammered by anything!!!
Kind of like this, but in black and bastardised!
Cheers in advance

Fair play, if I ever decide to go to the Car Wash, I now know I can do the same...but I'd probably see if he can get out...
Should have parked away a bit and had a look at him trying to get his arse out of the car, and getting soaked...now that would have been funny, especially with pics...
Wellington, the Tan Bank car park...I spotted it a while back, so if I ever have to go up there, I always make sure I get THAT space, or I leave it for another time.
Donny
Genuine parking space...now thats what I call designed for people who don't like their cars to be hit by another person's door!
And that IS a GENUINE space!!! None of this 2 space parking required!
Donny :)
Wilkommen to the Club...Should have got a Cup though! :rasp:
Only joking, Monaco's are rare as rocking horse poo...so you've got yourself a good one there.
Where abouts you from?
Enjoy
Donny
You can get the paint as well...do it and then once its done, its done, you can't go over it for about 12 weeks though, so make sure you cover it well.
Done mine with caliper paint in Blue. some people have also used hammerite, but don't know which is best.
