Nope there huge differences in oils.
Fully synthetics best but frequent chnages is IMO more important for most drivers unless you drive track days etc where oil standards are more important.
What has the amount of cams got to do with it? The rev range is better than a 172 or 182 though and more use.
Stock 100 intercooler big enough no point chnaging unless you changing turbo..
Stock for stock or even modified I'd take a 80 though for the gearbox alone.
Many thanks.
Anyway regards the poster original comment. The 2.0 is the M9R engine. There a few version 5 from memory used In the Laguna top spec the 172 engine. Its got the handy strong box and the most powerful the lower spec 150 might be a realistic better engine as its got a more power at...
The alarm system has received a signal from the vehicle ECU that the ignition is 'on' causing the alarm to beep. This signal is only received by the alarm for 3 to 4 seconds, after this time has elapsed the alarm stops beeping

Stock power fine all the comments about remaps are unnessessary realy stock powers fine and I woulnd' remap due to the cost of bits when they break on these engines when mapped poorly.

Aux belt has to be changed to do the cambelt.
Only extra is the water pump some people chnage it although it doens't have to be done.
£150 to £350 depends where you go etc.
So they offered to chnage the keys and you refused but still complained?

Be warned of what small minded people not wanting to help a person interested in a proper project grow up and have a look round.
There a lot of reason the 172 and 182 and v6 engines are pieces of junk but I won't mention or open that can of worms.
Firstly I like the way this is going could...
The wiring and ecu plus integration etc is the trouble realy plus there loads of ways round things depends how you go about it. If I were to choise A way to go about it as a recomendation I'm not sure which way I'd even say.

Personaly get the royal purple oil its the best out there but pricy otherwise look at the Millers 75/90 oil its a bit cheaper at £40 vs about £55 (where you can find it royal purple).
Most insuers cover curtousy cars if your car is in for warently work (not service) for free.
I'd ask the garage to cover the car under the normal policy.
They do seemingly lower the car a slight but but there completly wrong for the car get the proper springs for your car or not at all.
Not quite that simple the cars are lower.
Depends if were on about a Mk1 or Mk2 car Mk2 have springs at the back Mk1's have torsion bars.
