    Try the rear light clusters for water in them thenc heck the earthing point in the boot. Its on the passenger sider below the upper belt for the rear pasenger is in the boot though as such behind the interier trim.

    Yep. UCH new are £180 Keys are £160 each programmed. ECU are £180 or so I think new. Plus you'd ned it all sending to Renault to program anyway. Unlcoking the ECU is £70 ish the UCH probably the same. Plus you still need to get it to Renault to recode them to your car anyway.

    Depends on defininition of best stock is IMO best for most users. Stock pads are good enough. 280mm Yep brakes are the same on all 172/182 except the 172 cup has no Abs but only affects rear disk as you need to have the abs rings in them and the 172 front pad part has discontinued the 182...

    Need to get the under engien cover off and clean up and ee where its comming from. Gearbox leaking usualy results in a keenness no to go in gear and it justmps out of 5th and doens't like it.

    Things die usualyu since they have to wear. I'd keep with the stock bushes for the wisbones etc. I'd alway not use the Apex kit as I don't rate it very highly.

    Get a Haynes manual or else strip down the other side for reference. The way you said it sounds right but since you cannot fit it together wrong and as the little spring can only be used for the handbrake tensioner your ok.

    Differences won't be huge since the 182 has a decient cat anyway for flow.. Who's remapping the car?

    Rear disk vs drums make no difference. Recomend to ch age yep but depending on what the cars used for its not exxential after all possible better sticking with the smaller disks and 4 pots for reduction in unsprung weight and ability to use smaller wheels.

    1 . The engine is not sparking up, seems like the key isnt sync'd with the ECU or an imobilizer problem. One choice is to buy a new ecu,uch,keys etc.....any other ideas? Have you swopped all the looms etc also somtimes need to get the renault computers plugged in any sync it all together...
