Depends if ui feather it off at 2k for a normal set off or 4k for a launch, shouldnt do it on the later if u keep above it after setting off. Plus ur IK contributes to a flat spot in first i find.

U dont burn it on the clutch while u wait to set off do u? U need to find the revs that will allow a scretch of the tyres and no bogging down but u hav to feather the clutch for a few split seconds to get a perfect launch.

GTT as u hav turbo power and will involve less work hence MUCH less expense. If u tune it right u could have just under 200BHP and ur car would still be light with a 1400 engine. Dont ruin it by getting ur styling from the corner in Halfords though. ;)
