Its the newest (dont make them now) CRX as in roadster type apparently it is 170 BHP; the UK VTi DOHC that is.

Well ive beat 2 106s in my more or less standard Valver & would only expect to get 16 dead on a good run. VTSs are faster than 106 GTis IMO & with my experiance racing them.

Rear spoiler? First ive heard. Yeah the left centre dial is ur dipstick, i always let mine warm up to atleast 60 degrees on the oil temp gauge before taking it over 3.5k. Pressure should be up to 6 bar when first started in the morning untill warmed up & when taken over 6k revs. High...

Big for me Steve, especially after pumping my 15s up to 35psi it can get a lot more grip round corners in the dry; actually feels more likely to oversteer! :cool:

Yeah, said itd be ready by May, try phoning them. I think the forced induction might be too much for my standard ECU to manage and not run lean, so keeping my PiperX till some1 else has tried it. ;)

16s r good for the 16v execpt they give a little understeer on stock suspension IMO.

Only the 16v & Williams have the limiter on the Mk1 Clios as far as i know.

Have u tried takin it up to 6900? If u change at 6400 how can u bounce of the limiter? Im thinking the reason power peaks earlier is cause uve got ur original box on. 6.25 is silly quick u know?

Ha, im sorry but its the only car ive drove which has ever done it plus why would u need a racing gearbox if u wanna drive a standard car to its limit. Thats like saying the engine isnt made to be taken up to 6k revs after some1 blows theirs up! :o

I muct admit, i thought the Escort Cossie was 5.7 to 60 & the Saff 4x4 was 6.2?

Thought the lux was jus the luxuary pack, eg. leather seats? Earlier Escort had a T3, later 1 had a T25, but read somewhere that they had the same 0-60 of 5.7 i think.
