IM experiance a GOOD IK works best with an Xorst for sheer speed but for quicker pick-up/response the original air box is better. De-cat meant it wouldnt put me back in my seat in my 16v but seems to work for 1/4 mile times in a Willy anyway.
Complicated issue IMHO.
Ahhhhh. Nothing to worry about then, ill buy them VERY cheap sockets from Argos that lose thier teeth easierly and hammer it over the nut, then wrench it off.
Sweat, but if i can do it, then so can some robbing reprebates. :o
Picky? ME? Ha ha. ;)
It is surpose to be run in for 5 mins i think.
Hoping for some genral info on these products really, ive read on one that its alright to use some time close to a service or words to that effect, so i suspect it aint that bad. Cheers.
Please post hear with the front & rear lowering measurments. Ive checked the gallery BTW but not much detail on how low they have gone at front & rear. Clio Mk1 1.8 16vs thanx.
MUCH APPRECIATED
My mechanic friend used some dogs boll*cks oil & fuel treatment apprently, but after having run it through the system for 5 mins came the time to give it an oil change.
Hummm, hasnt got the right sized square socket bit so the stuff has to stay in till next weekend!
Dont know exactly what it...
The spare wheel cage BTW will come out with force but ur left with the problem off the catch for it which lowers the cage rattling about underneath, & due to its design u have to hack saw it off to prevent the fu*kin annoying noise!
I decided it wasnt worth it any road so left it.
Im getting the edges of my bonnet and other edges which are slightly rusting seen to and touched up so it doesnt crumble away in a few years. You wont be able to tell from a distance on the edges of doors/panels/bonnets if its done well.
but if you car is running lean then technically your mpg would go up no ? or it certainly wouldnt get any worse cause your using less fuel per spark
Not really as its just getting more air into the mix and improving combustion speed (performance). So mpg should stay the same or less as the ECU...
Do you mean 40mm lower at back & 20mm at the front?
If not theres ur problem!
Turning in is aparently altered if u dont lower the front and rear by the same measurement & to be honest i can understand why.
Thats the case with ALL cars 2 live, even the Willy. Buyers would preferable like a standard example and pay less rather than one thats had its engine made to put out massive BHP over standard!
I think Adis 16v is worth every penny but its only a select few that want such a highly tuned car...
So u think an IK can cause ur car to run lean then BenR or r u just stating ur opinion on the ECU functions?
Every1 does it so it aint gonna cause it to run lean i reckon. What do BB/ K-Tec/ HP have to say about it?
