4k is the ideal rev with my PiperX IK but u need skill to feather the clucth right IMO, still to try with my air box back on but will probably be the same.
U r being paid FAR too much! Get me a job thatll earn me enough to do that & i will! I aint fitting them myself so would rather save myself at least a ton & get the best springs the first time!
Ive got a few little paint chips on the bonnet. Do i use chip stick before or after polish & wax? Sounds like hard work, is polishing wax crap then? Cheers.
I thought urs was the phase 1 cause of the alloys.
Black= bit*h to keep clean!
Humm. Hows about your 16v?
There is a LOT more space between wheel and arch at the rear though, so would have thought the front would look comparitvly too low if each end is lowered by the same amount.
I e-mailed BB tuning after all ur advice (K-Tec dont seem to do the Gaz set) and got a reply saying they came with 250lb springs!
I thought a few peeps who had them said they came with 200lb springs which were too stiff and had got 175 & 180lb springs instead! :o
So what is BB on about? Im...
Yeah, the centre box on my Scorpion Xorst scrapes if you take speed humps too quick & i wanna get my 16v lowered by 35mm! :@
It cant be taken up wongy cause they say itll knock on the body but its just the mechanics being lazy bast*rds cause they dont wanna have to re-hang the Xorst IMO.
Im...
Hows ur Clio 16v that shinny mate? What polish/wax did u use for ur gallery pics? Looks awesome. Its not the pearl black though is it so it probably looks more shiney than mine anyway?
Thanx
When warm it can still be heard though. Not as bad as the first few secs when cold though, but im sure its nothing damaging for my engine! Just a pain really.
It sounds like a healthy tapping BTW not tinny or grinding just not exactly silent.
DOES ANY1 HAVE THIER VALVER LOWERED BY 35MM SO I CAN HAVE A BUTCHERS PLEASE?
Help me out so i know how low to go! Thanx.
I like urs Ben H, looks smart & tidy, just the right height IMO, but it really doesnt look like its just 20mm lower at the back. Any pics from other angles? Cheers.
Electrical contacts with the gauge i think. Ull need a Renault gauge of a similar year (16vs prob use the same adapter) to conect it with the R5 oil pressure sensor lead i think.
I know all this lads & agree, i will get some 195s when i need some new 1s.
Im expecting slight reduction in body roll, quicker cornering at higher speeds & it being slightly more likely to slide in the wet.plus heavier steering, but the 50 side wall will still not look as low profile as id...
Bruns post is a bit ambitious though!
I had a race with a 172 last night & they are quick but a Scooby (turbo obviously) is in a different league if every 1 was being honest.
R u using Magnetex? Mine has really quietend down since the new Mobil 1 oil & filter. The oil presure stays very high until warm & responds quicker and much more livelier to revs & sounds healthier too.
Fu*kin ask the 16v designer!
Ur probably right, but im telling you theres a reason for everything, so there must be 1 for the 16v having 185 standard tyres, if its purely costs (which i doubt) then ill get 195s next time i need new tyres for my phase 2 alloys!
Does this satisfy u Steve?
