Thats strange, when looking at quotes for new cars the guy said a term of the insurance is that the car MUST be fitted with a CAT 1 immobiliser. Must have meant alarm & immobiliser!

The clucths biting point is usually high if its on its way out, isnt it? Maybe just needs adjusting though. Have you tryed putting it in first then striaght into reverse? How much does a clucth cable change cost cause i need mine doing cause its getting sticky?

Must just be the feel in the car with it being very quiet over bumps or imperfections on the road & the engine not grunting as much. Better balanced suspension so the front end doesnt sit up when flooring it, etc. A louder noise through suspension fools you into thinking one car is quicker...

Body roll is good when driving in the wet though and round tight bends. Stops you sliding.

Yeah, sorry i wouldnt know Jack about the new 1.2s. I think the Viper kit for the valver will be the best with an air scoop from the bumper for more air to be sucked. Then u have forced induction (as the original box was) but with a less restrictive filter and a higher sucking power. ;)

I think its the feel Adi. A VTS doesnt feel anywhere near as quick (power deliverly more even maybe, suspension harder but quieter) to drive as a 16v. Ive heard that a Pulsar owner says that his car doesnt feel that quick cause it is so heavy and a nearly standard R5 gives you more thrills...

The higher pressure you go the better steering response and qicker acceraltion from rolling starts however the grip will be reduced cause the tyre will have less downforce (i think thats the word) and will be more likely to slide under cornering.

Well Schmackers side air spliters came off in Austrailer & he didnt seem to lose any ground! So if it doesnt make a difference to an F1 car im sure road cars wont be suffering. Probably wrong though. :p
