Very easy to tell when ur about to oversteer in a manual steering 1.4 Mk1 IMO.
Harder in my 16v but at least when u reach the limit the car just slides and u can easirly correct your self. Unlike the standard Mk1. However with every new car ive driven the limits are pretty much unreachable...
Its up for discussion pal, id just like to know if the claims of a 5 second 0-60 are realistic.
I surpose i could get a loan and pay it on finance like these VTR/S owners are doing only spending it on a 200+bhp beast! :devilish::cool:

Its like owning a feckin time bomb this week; first clutch pedal loses tension, then outside temp light goes now this! Arent i hard done too? :D
Im not in a position to get the conversion myself but say if i was to win Saturdays lottery & wanted to keep the pocket rocket on then thatd have to be happening. :D

The performance figure for 0-60 is an estimates. At 5 secs. Im very interested to know what the car has proven to do in a 1/4 mile run. In theory it should be just shy of 13 secs shouldnt it? Also id expect BB to have the facilities to...
Gauge didnt go up on start up today, then didnt go down without me tapping it a few times on both occasions. Bit of dial lubrication or what?

A Haa! Went for some Sunday driving myself in the one lane country roads around Lancashire. Awesome. First time my ABS came in handy too when flying over the brink of a hill and a tractor taking up the width of the road on the other side! :o

Obviously i can drive it slowly and avoid jerking but it requires more effort than any other car ive driven.
Yeah the phase 2 clucth is a LOT heavier than the phase 1 but you get used to that so that doesnt really bother me. Even car reviews mention this cars tendency to bounce on the bite & when putting foot down at low speed if you dont use your feet gently. :p
Does it p*ss u off when trying to take it easy changing at 2.5 grand when your car jolts and bounces unless u give your gear change more attention than any other car demands and spend a second matching revs? :cry:
