I think its difficult to tell it apart from a 1.6 16v when moving or far away. The only way i can tell is by seeing how wide it is straight on. No offence, but its not a car which is amazingly different.

Mine has stated to pull to one side under braking. What is it? Recently put 195/45/16s on and thought it might be emphasing tracking being a touch out by making big difference to car pulling to one side when brakes applied. I have none of the other problems. ANY THOUGHTS?

R u driving like that from cold cause i think it seems to do it for a good few minutes if its been abused. Not sure though. Or your not letting oil get up to temp before booting it maybe?

Expensive to relocate battery i would have thought, new wiring and box. What good is a daddy of a filter if it wont go on your throttle body. If you dont buy one made to fit the 16v then you have to make ur own adapter to fit it onto throttle body. My PiperX is good with a home-made heat shield.

Yeah, my 16v phase 2 sounds tappety for first 5 mins but beatifull there after, never take it to top revs till oil gauge is off bottom and oil pressure is down to normal (means internal engine moving parts are warm and ready to rock n roll).

Best apperently is 15w/50 Mobil 1. I use 15w/40 GTX Magnetex. I had a debate on this and it doesnt REALLY matter so id recommend either, just let engine warm up before opening her up and there all the same.
