Well i was going to first buy the 20gb ipod but the guy in the shop said they didnt have any left and that they were getting phased out with the 30gb colour ones. Is this true as it is going to cost me 250 instead of 200....

Ive even seen ipod adapters that go with my original head unit. Do you think this is a good idea as its cheaper, or go for an aftermarket one which will have scrollin song titles but will be more expensive..... Decisions decisions....

Ive been on the lookout for an ipod compatible head unit and the only one i can see is the alpine one at £300 from halfords. Are there any other makes which allow connection to the display and the original renault steering wheel remote? Cheers Fraser

I was wondering if it is possible to get an adapter to fit the alpine IPOD CDA-9847R head-unit and KCA-420i box, so i could see the listing on the renault display and also control it using the standard renault steering column remote. Any help and pics of this install would be appreciated...

Renault were probably sick of replacing the wheels with split rubber grips so decided to have the new cup without them. My 172 cup is going in for a replacement wheel once they can get hold of it. I think this is the reason for it anyway.

What a stupid design! Surely they can have interchangable grips or something rather than replacing the whole wheel! And it will prob take them 4 months to order it in!

I took my cup into the dealers to get the rubber grip replaced on the wheel as it was splitting and they are changing the whole wheel under warranty, which is lucky as it would have cost me £280! They said the airbag is transferrable, just hope they connect it up properly! Has anyone else had...

Has it been GPS verified at 175 mph? And what tyres have u got on to cope with the increased top end? It would be good to blow porsches and ferraris away!

Gatsos flash both ways which blind the driver as they drive towards the camera. This is why they cant charge you unless you are doing a silly speed i think.The truvelo i thought used infrared to get round this problem hence why it can take head-on pictures.

If its a gatso then u wont be prosecuted from the front. Its rear facing only. Ive known mates that drive towards gatsos above the speed limit and never get done. So i think u mite be lucky!

Ive been looking at the evo vids which are brill, and include fast laps in a radical sr3! Amazing! But the best for me was the ferrari group test with the f40, f50, 288gto and the enzo! Just listen to the enzo starting up! I couldnt believe the noise! Heres the link...
