What have you done that for lol ?
Thats probably worse than the Renault clips.
All you need is the greece which is pence per packet (75p area) and a correct sized jubilee clip, roughly a quid.
Check if the tie has broken. Very common.
Use a Jubilee clip mate NOT the Renault proper clips. Jubilee's are stronger by a mile.
Top up with CV grease before you put the clip on. Can be had from any good motorfactors for under a pound
What parts are you wanting off it mate?
Engine and wheels are sold, just got the interior and a few trim bits left then we can scrap the shell
only kidding ;)
Average mixed driving you should be getting mid 30's to low 40's.
Anyone who's skirting about high 20's low 30's is either doing constant heavy city traffic, has a problem with the lambda or ragging the balls off it everywhere they go.
Its meant to look like a ph1 because thats what it is ;)
Its hard to tell a Sport ph2 from a 1.2 Dynamic. :o
At least with a ph1 love it or hate it its easy recognisable as a Sport Clio especially at the front end
You can get nice gains from cams but in terms of work fitting them and the cost vs the gains you actually get theres better options to start with.
Also dont focus on peak power. Choose your cams based on what your doing with the car.
Nothing worse than a road car you have to rev the tits off...
What offset you running on the wheels or is it spacer'd up ?
Looks stunning in white. No idea why Renault never had white as a option, best colour by a mile
The @ the wheels figure ;)
You could whip the engine out and bench dyno it to get a true engine figure. End of the day you might have 10 bhp more than another 172 / 182/ 197 etc but he / she might have less weight etc ..
Where do you draw the line :)
Renault dont have a magic engine dyno that works different to everyone elses.
You can get rollers that measure @ wheels and rollers that measure @ fly (most common).
Fly figure is a calculation of a wheel figure iirc,.. both types of which are only as accurate as the person at the end of them.
Was the timing out by a lot? You deserve a medal for putting up with that for so long lol
Beef-Mc, might be worth getting the timing checked but as post number 3 said could also be just the lambda sensor. The symptoms youve listed all relate to that too.
