Thats a bloody good time! What mods have you got and what was your trap time and 60ft ?
My best was 14.4 @ 99 at Crail also but with mods although full interior, ice and heavy 2118's at the time
Might be worth sticking it on the rollers to see whats going on. Open IK's are bad but what your describing sounds more than sucking in a bit of hot air
Take it off and look down the pipe. Silenced and decat, a ball will roll from one end to the other. Cat or Sports cat will have material in the actual pipe
Iv ran Apex / Koni on the Clio for about 7 or 8 years now. Not too hard for me and love the stance. Appreciate Eibach would probably give a better ride but then the car wouldnt sit as good. Depends what your after
If 428's are mild and 421's are more lary then surely the 421's would have a bigger trade off gain vs loss ?
Im hoping to get these new 428's mapped shortly but it currently pulls in 4th from 1500 rpm right up to 60+ without any bogging down
Your moaning about the vibration, im telling you theres hardly any. Who's correct? - theres a right way and a wrong way to fit these FACT. Now figure out who's fitted them wrong ;)
Dont right cams off altogether. My old pretty mild spec Piper regrinds matched with a few other mods left a RS Focus and a R32 Golf standing on a quater mile the latter of which had repeated runs against me with the same outcome
Do some research on the different cams the different profiles, what they give you low down, mid range etc and match them up to what your wanting from your car.
You might get some cams that give you a good paper result for the boys down the pub but if youve got 1.1's beating you till you come...
Cant believe how homosexual folk are on here. You get more vibration off a snails fart than you do these.
I cant do nowt on the car without the girlfriend or my old dear picking fault and they both never noticed id fitted these!!
Lots of engine movement with the stock mounts and tonnes of folk moaning about engine knock with stock mounts.
I wasnt too sure about the uprated ones but the vibration is hardly noticeable and they really do improve the drive.
Worth noting on the dogbone mount theres 2 compound rates...
